That's because you don't possess the magical Founding Fathers Crystal Ball™ that comes with every SCOTUS robe and grants the power of twisted perception. Silly poster, thinking that words have plain and obvious meanings. /s
Crystal ball? I thought it was a secret red phone that only Conservative judges have, that is a direct connection to the founding father's spirits, and they have lengthy discussions with those spirits before they rule. My bad!

You know, in all seriousness, the sad part is, that they could stand up and say they spoke to the spirits of the founding fathers, and many of the conservative base would believe it because they are that far gone.

Yeah if we somehow make a constitutional amendment making universal healthcare.. there's nothing to stop SCOTUS from saying.. the amendment does not say healthcare has to be longer than the day of birth!

Correct me if I'm wrong but did this right wing SCOTUS the very people who allegedly don't legislate from the bench and create law just nullified part of the US Constitution?

This wouldn’t be the first time. They did something similar with the 2nd amendment too.

Based on this Supreme Court ruling, which under-35 and/or foreign celebrity should now run for President?

As far as I am aware, Congress has passed no laws on how to implement the age or citizenship requirement for President, so those too are null and void until such legislation passes, exactly per this Supreme Court ruling.

It was a stupid ruling using stupid logic. Had they reached the same conclusion but had an actual rational argument I would have conceded the point but this court continues to use the dumbest logic I’ve ever seen from people who are supposed to be smart.

Katie Britt is continently naive. She blames Biden for America not keeping its word yet she forgets America got Ukraine to give up its nukes with the promise to help them defend against Russia

LOL no states laws for thee. Only for me. Along party lines, SCOTUS ruled Texas is allowed to enforce their immigration policies they passed in December. But yet election is a constitutional state issue can’t enforce which candidates allowed on the ballot. Come on Newsom, ban guns. Let’s see the outrage from this clown court.

If a blue state had decided to allow Muslims into the country in defiance of Trump's Muslim ban SCOTUS would have struck that down in 30 seconds, and rightly so, as it is long, long, long established that immigration is an area of plenary federal authority.

Pure Calvinball. Expand the court.

Blue states really need to pull these kinds of stunts. Either the court continues to ruin its legacy and legitimacy, or it actually begins acting in a consistent manner (and of course, pack the court in the meantime)

And why stop at guns? Go all out.

Really difficult to reconcile this decision allowing states to usurp federal powers while comparing it to the case where CO removed Trump from the ballot ...
The way to reconcile it is to recognize that SCOTUS is made up of politicians in robes, but now they have given up the appearance of being nonpartisan and sticking with prior rulings for continuity in favor of just doing whatever they feel like.

Once again the SCOTUS is making up their own laws, ignoring the actual laws, previous SCOTUS rulings, and set presidence that this authority falls on the federal goverment, not the states.. But now, due to the SCOTUS legislating from the bench, It now falls on the states... of course, the clause that is written in invisible ink says this only applies to red states, where in blue states, this authority will still fall under the federal government.
