Why not?I don't see how that would be a compatible situation.

I implore you to open your eyes and look around the world. What kind of person actually votes to live under a dictatorship?
What's wrong with these people?
Why not?
I'm going to wait until Oct 1st to start stockpiling food and supplies on the boat. If things go south, the escape window closes on 1/20/25. I plan to be gone long before that.Too much animosity. There are other similar possibles that have done nothing but wash his balls constantly (Stefanik, Noem, MTG). I also doubt that the typical Haley voter is just going to be like "well, she's the VP so I guess I can overlook all the reasons why he's a fucking idiot that I've already said I won't support if he's the nominee".
His VP pick will almost assuredly be someone that did not run against him in the primary. His ego won't allow that. He'd be too offended that they dared to challenge the throne. He'll take their endorsement, make a demeaning joke about them using his assigned nickname for them, and then cast them off into the MAGA hellscape.
A few here keep wanting to give Haley voters the benefit of the doubt and they will stick to their word come November. Ultimately these Repugnicans will choose party over countryI also doubt that the typical Haley voter is just going to be like "well, she's the VP so I guess I can overlook all the reasons why he's a fucking idiot that I've already said I won't support if he's the nominee".

I just worry that we cant rely on Trump being the usual emotional dumpsterfire that he used to be, he seems broken to me. You will have a much better "feel" for what Haley supporters will stand for and what not. So. Ok.Too much animosity. Rule #1 in politics: it's is a blood sport. It's a good thing overall that this race isn't going to be some Dem vs Dem matchup that will suck money out of other races. This is pretty disappointing from Porter, who I voted for. It was not rigged. Just graciously lose the election even though Schiff ratfucked you with Garvey. It was a legitimate ratfucking.
You willfully ignoring your Republican Party is trying to get rid of the form of government you currently have with a dictatorship.
Open Senate seats don't come around often, and she was a "rising star" for Democrats. Unfortunately she ran into a very strong opponent. Why the fuck was she running vs Schiff? She is a gem, move her somewhere useful?
It would have been the most expensive Senate race in history if both Dems pulled through. This was the correct result.Rule #1 in politics: it's is a blood sport. It's a good thing overall that this race isn't going to be some Dem vs Dem matchup that will suck money out of other races.
Throwing out the term "rigged" in current times of the rise in illiberalism and hatred for democracy is also a bad thing. You just give your political enemies more cover for their own schemes to actually rig things.

But the Democrats aren’t doing that and Republicans are?I feel the same way about the Democratic Party trying to get rid of the form of government we currently have with a dictatorship..
Schiff is a great congressman and Garvey has no chance. It will be a blowout.Adam Schiff didn't want to face Porter so he helped Garvey. I'd be great if Garvey beat that turd.

Let's hope he does. The guy is a waste of oxygen.By all means, hold your breath on that one.

Why don't you enlighten us as to when the Democratic Party tried to do this? We can wait.I feel the same way about the Democratic Party trying to get rid of the form of government we currently have with a dictatorship..
A blessing upon you for taking up this fool's errand. But the Democrats aren’t doing that and Republicans are?
It is funny how at this point Republicans are basically saying 'you're a dictator for prosecuting the guy who tried to become a dictator'.A blessing upon you for taking up this fool's errand.
