Kharkiv is being destroyed a little more day by day now, it's accelerating. Ukraine's 2nd largest city with almost 1.5 million residents on a good day. They'll soon be forced to flee en masse. Where are they to go? Where do you put upward of 1.5 million people? My home state of West Virginia barely has more people than that. I may as well be asking,
"Where do you put the population of West Virginia?"
Where do you put the people of Vermont & Wyoming?
Where do you put the people of D.C. and Alaska?
Where do you put the people of the Dakotas?
Where do you put the people of Delaware?
Where do you put the people of Rhode Island?
Where do you put the people of Montana, or Maine, or the entire fuckin' island of goddam Hawaii?
It is presumed that Russia will be settings their sights on trying to take Kharkiv in a couple months, which is probably why they've ramped up bombing the place to soften it up after having largely ignored it for a long time.
I bring this up due to
this article and also due to Chasiv Yar. Chasiv Yar, a final key city to Donbas, has been completely destroyed before a single Russian even put a boot within the city on their current offensive drive. This is Russia's style, pick a city to take over, and obliterate it leaving the defenders to fight from within the ruins. That is what is currently being done to Kharkiv, preemptively. It's a signal of priority targetting. Russia is telegraphing what is on their to-do list.
