If you did 'spend' 7.5 years in Catholic country and have studied Aquinas in detail, you should know the difference. Honestly, I don’t know why you are asking these questions. Also, since a statistically small number of priests, over the past 2000 years, have abused children, we should consider all of them untrustworthy. That is a ridiculous claim.

I don’t know why I bother. Y'all hate Christians. You don’t even believe that Christian’s are Christians - just hypocrites. And God doesn’t or cannot exist or, he is the most horrible being ever.
I think it's less to do specifically with "some of them abused children", and more to do with "some of them abused children, AND lots of them were complicit in covering it up".
I also don't know why you bother, honestly. Given the prominence of hate-spewing, money-worshiping Christians in North America, and their attempts to institute theocracy, can you really blame people for rejecting them?

I mean the numbers aren't that low anyway. 6000 children dead just in the Irish Magdalene laundries! God didn't do anything about those.

In that case, I suggest you follow Jesus, rather than George Carlin. He has a much, more more compelling 'story' than Carlin. Then again, a lot of people have seen Carlin's comedy routine. Very few people have read Aquinas, Agustine, von Bathasar, Scott Hann or any number of past and present theologians.

I follow the golden rule, and I don't need pompous philosophers or fairy tales to tell me the right way to live my life. The best life advice can come from any source.

Oh, that's just His ineffable plan in motion. You know how he is, some days you just wake up on the wrong side of creation and really need to do some smiting.

Honestly the whole "ahhh, tens and hundreds of thousands of dead children are just an unfortunate byproduct of our belief in god" thing really pisses me off.

How is his logic any different than yours? You’re taking on blind faith that the people you listed were actually inspired by god.
It is up to you to provide testable proof of the existence of God. Otherwise, you are making subjective faith based supposition. Quoting books from thousands of years ago is not proof of anything. Looks at Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads. I state those are the Divinely inspired Word of God. My statement equals yours in validity which means that is only true to me by faith. Does god pass the false hypothesis test? Nope. Doesn’t mean God doesn’t exist but it does mean you can no more empirically state your God exists than any other person’s God.

I don’t even know what sort of philosophy you studied to lead to such a confusing response to what I said.

Randomness doesn’t exist to God because he's not limited by mere human understanding. It exists for us because we do have a finite intellect which can only contain a fraction of the knowledge which we, as a species, collectively know. Never mind what God knows.

Humans have free will. Our free will is compromised, in so far as it is limited by various defects that humans have. Since God exists outside of time, he knows what happens in every moment of our lives. That doesn’t imply that He caused any of these events. You chose whether or not to go out for a drive or not, knowing an accident can occur, Gos didn’t make that choice for you.
Patently insane. We have myriad methods of proving randomness. If it doesn't exist to your god, free will doesn't either.

How much does your church pay for molestation insurance?

It doesn't seem like it fits under the constitution to me, but If they changed the name to "Ten rules to live by" would you accept it?
Hmmmm...."rules to live by", let's see, rule #1:

"THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME"

Fuck off clown.

When will God purge all the clergies that molest kids and the ones that cover for them? That is a miracle I can believe in.
He is, and will continue to. He used the investigative powers of journalists to shame them and uncover their evil deeds. This is an extra dose of humiliating, given the fact that , beyond all reason, the spiritual decedents of the apostles cover up this tragedy. This has happened before in the history of the church. Typically a Saint (someone of an unimpeachable degree of virtue) would correct them and expose their 'nakedness' before God. God does punish his own children if they will not repent of their sins.
