I just heard that Mexico is deploying 10,000 troops to the border to focus on stopping drugs and illegal border crossings - in exchange for a pause while they negotiate on the tariffs.

Wow, I didn't expect to see results so quickly. I am so glad that we voted Trump back into the presidency! This will help keep illegals out of the country, and also help save thousands of lives each year!
So he negotiated down and you think this is good? Excellent work. I would love to see you in a job interview asking for a lower salary. Do you ask for a smaller raise in your performance reviews too?

The MAGAs are convienced that any country Trump threatens with tariffs or deportation will have no choice but to do what he says. While we are powerful, they're severely overestimating him and our leverage here. Also, threatening countries isn't a good choice for negotiation tactic. They seem to think Canada will crumble into nothing if Trump carries thru with his plans here. They all parrot "We don't need them, but they need us" about every country that's standing up to Trump's nonsense lol.
Canada puts a large tax on imported products to encourage Canadians to purchase good in their own country. The tariff is no different. All of the countries who trade goods with the U.S should be ready to renegotiate all trade deals in a way that is fair for both countries and not more for one side. Biden did not do that so he could line is pockets.

Trading countries negotiate trade terms and conditions, all finally agreeing to conditions they deem suitable for themselves. It's called compromise. It was done between Mexico, the US, and Canada.

Normally if there becomes an imbalance, terms are re-negotiated when conditions change. Normally that is. Normally one party doesn't just threaten the other countries it trades with, because even smaller countries have things we need and want, and can also make us hurt. I think everyone understands this, except fucking Trump supporters. They ask "well we are the strongest, we should be dictating the terms" which is the mentality of an abusive husband to a wife that accidentally spills his beer, beat her!

It is becoming very hard to have to listen and deal with these fucking idiots, and we're barely into his term. I half hope that Congress changes the term limits for president, and Obama runs again and beats his sorry old ass.

By Trump, during the last Trump administration.
"This is a truly extraordinary agreement for the United States, Canada, and Mexico." - Trump, 2018

"I look at some of the deals made, I say 'who the hell made these deals are so bad'[sic]" - Trump, 2025

This is what liberals do, "fucking Trump supporters" They condemn the other side and call them idiots because they have a different view. I have a friend who lives in Canada who was complaining to me last year because he was restoring his dirt bike. Here in the U.S. a part that costs $100 was costing him $150 by the time it got to him. The import tax is so high that he cannot buy things like this. It drives the price up too much.

Oh and Obama is without a doubt one of the worst presidents of all time. He put the races at odds against each other. Every since he has been in office race stuff has been worse.

Obama has hurt race relations. Unfortunately he worked harder to people at odds with each other instead of trying to get them to work better together. It has nothing to do with him being black.

A different view? Really? Calling out fucking idiots because they are fucking idiots is just common sense. It's not because they have a different view, it's because they have horrible ideals and wish to push their crap on everyone else in the form of religion, or some version of a religion anyway. These are horrible people with shitty thoughts that voted in the worst thing this country will see in our lifetimes. It's a cult, and we don't have time to reprogram all of the members.

I'm not a liberal, I'm just not a MAGA Republican. But you can call me a RINO if it helps.

I really do not want to call you anything. You have the right to believe whatever you want. I have voted democrat before but I was tired of all the Biden crap. Also, Kamala is so work that she only speaks for a very small part of the population. Plus she could not even be trusted to answer questions. Her party hid her.

Sure, blame the black guy for hurting race relations, and not the pansy ass, mediocre white people who got upset when other people were starting to publicly succeed and they could no longer coast on their white mediocrity.

Its hilarious how the quietest, politest black guy expresses an opinion on anything and its hurting race relations but Trump and Musk are just "telling it like it is" and thats fucking fine!

Obama was excoriated for wearing a tan suit and liking Dijon mustard. But sure, Obama was the problem here. Right.

What did he do specifically?
“It’s a secret. Do your own homework.”

It’s hilarious that all the people who believe Obama divided the country just happen to be the same people that listened to Rush on the radio, watched Tucker and Hannity, read Gateway Pundit and Drudge, subbed Project Veritas on YouTube, and spent countless hours on 4chan meme boards etc. But they can’t quote a single speech or EO or bill where Obama removed a civil right from white Christian males.

But sure, Obama divided the country.

Obama was incredibly timid at addressing race, he barely ever touched on racism, the most he did was occasionally berate black people - particularly the young - for not having the 'right' culture and mindset. Don't think the US could have hoped for a less 'divisive' figure as the first black President.

Oddly similar to how Khan, a frustratingly timid and cautious safety-first mayor (who was far slower at taking on the motorist lobby than Johnson was, bizarrely enough), kept getting described as some sort of anti-motorist, radical Muslim by the nutcases on the other side.

People's problems with Obama had everything to do with him being black. I can't count how many MAGAs I've seen ranting about how he was the "worst president ever by far!" I understand Republican voters don't like Democrats, fine. But to scream that he was the worst president over and over wasn't because he was a Democrat. They expose themselves whenever they bring up Obama.
