Could have had fine tires [at one point], but EVs, especially heavier ones like that swasticar, eat through their tires. Heavy vehicle + rapid acceleration = fast tire wear.
Electric motors have there highest torque right off the bat. If you have a heavy foot, I suspect that and battery weight are the problem.

So, is this the potential ruling that will determine Trump’s ultimate fate?

Of course, it was a giant fig leaf and terrible decision, which Trump proceeded to prove at first opportunity, pissing all over their intentions. I’m going out on a limb and say maybe at least Roberts and Barrett will try to make that distinction clear in one decision or another, but they deliberately let the fucking Fox into the henhouse.

There’s one subtle wrinkle that not enough people fully grasp, and which is probably the most important aspect of the decision. Not only did the justices not clarify the distinction between what is and is not an official Presidential duty, they explicitly said they WOULDN'T explain the difference, and would reserve for themselves the authority to decide, on a literal case by case basis, which actions constitute legitimate duties and which do not.

The justices intended this to be a shot across the Presidential bow: “We still have power over you - to wit, we retain the right to determine whether or not you’re operating according to the "rulebook.” In their minds, they were defending their judicial turf.

However, Trump, being Trump, took it in a completely different way: - “I’m going to do whatever the fuck I want, and I DARE YOU to tell me it’s illegitimate.”

And now we’re all on pins and needles waiting to see whether or not the justices are vertebrates.

I'm going with - probably not!

Yeah ... PGT-M (pre-implantation genetic testing for monogenic disorders) which as I understand it is sequencing analysis for various pathogenic mutations or aneuploidy. It’s something that seems to be routinely offered through various fertility clinics. There’s no way in hell anyone is doing CRISPR in these circumstances though.

My guess is he fancies himself the Emperor of Mankind from Warhammer 40k breeding a legion of Primarchs from his genetic material. The sooner we get to “immobile skeleton man strapped to a life support machine for eternity”, the better, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he thinks he’s going to be able to use Neuralink to upload his brain into Human Shield or whatever the fuck the one he’s been carrying around everywhere since December 4th is called.
I wonder if there's a scintilla of a possibility that Roberts might regret his ruling.

The first bit is hilarious, and totally possible.

But yes, none of that happened. There is no way that any doc in the US would/could turkey baste a chimera or any kind of CRISPRed embryo into this woman. Maybe they did this in Sri Lanka or some shit, but....yeah know. There's really no known incident of this actually happening, outside of the China thing where, IIRC, it didn't actually "happen."

Wow! I can see most stayed home playing video games and wallowed in despair as normal people enjoyed a long weekend . So many false comments, in the very few I could read. It is humorous. You all are good at weak vulgar insults and name calling without accurate if any examples. Why you find this the hill to die on is beyond me. Defending the indefensible. How many previous comments didn't age well, like classified data? I'm sure everyone is checking the official website and justify all that has been documented and the surface has barely been scratched.

That account decided to wander into P&N after 2 decades with 53 posts. Apparently became a dumbfuck or compromised between Jan 8 and Jan 21.

I am guessing the login location changed during that time. Or they became so angry about Republican nonsense they needed to wail into the void.

How many that know Elon so well have the courage to listen to his interview today? Why not get to know your enemy a little more? I think it is part 1 today, part 2 tomorrow? I'll watch it and hope someone else has the courage to. After both segments are watched I would be interested to hear what they have uncovered, so far, you disagree with. Trolling? I am but one outsider in an echo chamber of lemmings echoing each other. You know nothing about me other than I disagree with many of you and that results in emotional ugly responses.

Well, all I know about you is you keep posting vacuous posts that don't really say anything, other than that you "disagree with many of you" (which is a weird line in itself, as this place has a huge range of opinions, most of them too right-wing for my taste).

OK, I'll bite. Which of the specific actions Elon has taken are you upset about. In other words, which of the billions of taxpayers dollars that have been lost to waste, fraud and abuse do you support, and I will respond.

I’ll take a citation for any of those billions you are claiming. Do you think you could provide a citation from anyone but musk?

last I checked there is a website documenting just the tip of the iceberg. There's no so blind as those who will not see’. There is a website, have you bothered to read all the documented, verified examples? Elon, bless him, has bareley even started.

"10 million for circumcisions in Mozambique and $25 million for biodiversity in Colombia."

Please, justify that and so much more. Really? Uncovering which billions of waste, fraud and abuse are you OK with? I am waiting.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the government's leading disaster-relief arm, gave over $59 million to house illegal immigrants in luxury New York City hotels just last week, DOGE uncovered.

I can add pages but all the documented information is available but no one seems to want to pull their head out of the sand.

-nm- not wasting time on the troll.
Can't deal with the truth? How about Social Security? If the facts are on your side, show me? You can't. This is a bad hill to die on. Willful ignorance and no rebuttal to the facts. Do you not even have the courage to check and rebut? Who is the troll?

“Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE!” Musk began, posting an image of a chart with age brackets going all the way up to 369 years old.

Indeed, the info showed millions of individuals listed in some of the more unlikely brackets. For instance, 4.7 million were listed from ages 100-109, but it gets worse: 3.6 million are listed for 110 to 119, 3.4 million for 120 to 129, 3.9 million for 130 to 139, 3.4 million for 140-149, and 1.3 million for 150-159.

The figures continue — although in lesser numbers — on those supposedly in their 200s. For example, 1,039 are listed between the ages of 220-229.

There is even one listed in the age bracket 360-369.

“Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security,” Musk joked.

Please, are you not even a little bit curious?

That is because you can't defend the indefensible so you just revert to weak name calling. This is an argument that you can not, and are not winning.

I can keep adding line after line of documented, undeniable examples of waste, fraud and waste for you since you keep your head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge the truth or check what is readily available yourself.

Fuck you are dumb. Unless you visit the code you have no way of knowing what those fields are used for... odds are the alive field is not in use anymore, technical debt per se. Instead of pointing to an sql extract of personal data show that money were actually paid out.
But Elon is on crack cocaine. So you get shit.

Compelling and vulgar response. Yea, that's the ticket. Should we at least want to find out? Is your stance there is no fraud in Social Security and we should just trust and not verify? What is the worse that can happen? Remember democracy dies in darkness? Concerning discrepancies have been verified. Why not clean it up and make sure only eligible recipients of the entitlement are paid? That will benefit all taxpayers. I don't understand the pushback other than Trump and now Elon derangement syndrome.

You dont understand.
Copy that.
Cause when Elon posts stupid shit like that its red meat for the hordes of frothing stans and simps that is already cooked on Rogan and Alex Jones conspiracies.
No one agrees with fraud. I suggest he proves actual fraud and posts that. Instead of dismisinfo/propaganda... Or maybe thats the whole ticket? You ever wonder why its a conservative core value to dismiss fact checkers? So they can cook your brain with "less than accurate" information.

Usually these kinds of comments are what I'd expect from a new (usually junior) Engineer who goes up to management about a huge system bug that he found instead of asking a senior engineer first, and then management goes to the senior engineers and understands that the data is either unused or cross-referenced elsewhere. The idea that millions of people over the age of 100 are just treated as alive is pretty naive and I would think that there's a very low probability that it's true. I'd err on the side of caution that it's either unused/legacy or cross-referenced later with another database, but I just don't think that the DOGE team has any respect for the teams working in the government to actually ask anyone and instead just assume the worst about what they've found.

Or, more likely, they just royally fucked up a join and got really bad results that don't nearly show anything that they think they do.

Have you ever heard of firehosing?

Because you're suffering from that.

If you actually take the time and address each individual claim, you'll find they're either misrepresented or outright untrue.

Let's use one example: USAID was used to pay off media companies to carry a deep state message.

Now, let's use one claim from that: Politico. Politico Pro is a subscription service that legislators and agencies use. It is NOT Politico news org. The monies going to Politico Pro were for subscriptions to their legislative tools.

However, Trump and Musk MISLED you on this.

Now, let's take the BBC. Claim: USAID was funding the BBC to say stuff.

False, USAID supplied 8% of the funding for BBC's charity BBC Media Action that supplied food and medicine to needy people.

See how that works. You MUST address each claim independently.

Now, let's take one of these. Mozambique:

It is part of PREPFAR. The fight to control the world HIV epidemic through PREVENTION.

Preventing epidemics overseas keeps our own population healthier. That's a no fucking brainer.

Oh, and guess what? It was fully funded during TRUMPS FIRST FUCKING TERM.

I can FULLY justify the actions taken by PREPFAR to prevent the spread of HIV and eliminate the disease.

It is akin to our smallpox eradication.

Was it wrong and evil for the US to spend money around the world eradicating smallpox?

Now, let's take Colombia. It's a small part of the effort to restore the rainforest in the Amazon Basin and beyond. This AFFECTS the whole fucking world. Colombia itself is funding hundreds of millions on the project.

It's a worldwide project:

You are an easily misled sheep. That much is true. Try ACTUALLY questioning his claims rather than just blinding believing and reacting to them.
