I don't really like Burger King but I was looking at the app to see what's new. I was checking out the customize menu and saw an option "hot off the grill" Who the hell wouldn't want that by default? In customize I expect to see Bacon, Jalapenos, Onions, mustard etc. Not a "I'd like for my burger to not be old, k-thx." option.

I know most fast food places don't make your order to order, but it just seems weird to have that as an option, it seems to shine a big ass spotlight on the fact if you don't select it you might get a burger that has been sitting out for who knows how long. Knowing how poorly my BK performs I doubt they'd even pay attention if you selected that lol.

Guess it depends on if you're in a hurry or not, some people might just want their food as quickly as possible. If they're eating BK they've already resigned themselves to some level of disappointment, just a balancing act from there.

I hate BK. It's always a bag full of disappointment. Haven't been there in years cause they suck. The office used to be just about next to one, so I'd sometimes walk over to get one their shittastic breakfasts. If I had a dollar for every piece of bone I got in their sausage patties, I'd have... Well, a lot of dollars. Probably enough to buy a couple more shittastic breakfast meals :^D They can fuck off with their sweet croissants also. I keep an MRE in the truck so I don't have to resort to trash like BK when I'm out, and there's limited food options.

Got another package of MegaStuf oreos just to see and that is still too much Stuf in a cookie. Double Stuf remains the correct amount of Stuf.

I have also tested out the various Stuf amounts. My conclusion: Double Stuf and Thins Extra Stuf are the two best.

When I graduated from college and started working at a company called Bara Inc many many moons ago in Berkeley, before they were purchased by Morgan Stanley, I would walked to a near by BK three times a week for lunch. After doing that for a year or so I got so sick of BK and even after 29 years I still have not eaten at a BK! (The kid does likes their onion rings... not sure why though.... 🤷‍♂️)

I got the new frosty flavor at Wendy's and it's not bad at all. They mix minty chocolate with the flavor you chose. Tastes kind of premium.

Here's another Wendy's hack: Buy a bottle of caramel or butterscotch topping and if you're taking the frosty home (especially vanilla) drizzle it on top. Really improves the experience.

It is tragic how reasonable people can be so entirely wrong about the most basic things. Thin Oreos are superior to all others.

I'm not really a cookie person, but IMHO the fudge covered mint ones were the best Oreos. Do they still make them? I think they were called Grasshopper Oreos. They probably don't make them anymore, which I suppose would kinda make me look stupid trying to debate that they're the best lol.

They were damn good though whatever they were called.

I like mint flavored cream oreos, no fudge. They might have bits of candycane or something, but it's basically a stock oreo with mint added. Aldi sells some around jul. Don't know who actually makes them, but they're fantastic.

Oh, and single stuff ftw. Almost every alteration from the original recipe of a product is worse than the original. They did lots of testing before release, and in almost every case came up with the optimal flavor, and distribution of ingredients. Like big Reeses cups, and adding a patty to a McDonalds burger. They aren't as good as the default build.

Double Stuf is indeed superior to original, and the McDonald's double cheeseburger is much better than the single cheeseburger (and the McDouble is less good than the double cheese, but better than the single). I do agree about the big Reese's cup.

Superseedz. I've had a bunch of these now, and I'll list them in order of preference, though all are good...

Somewhat Spicy - It's a close race between this and the maple, but end of the day, I prefer savory for something like a pumpkin seed.

Maple & Sea Salt - Sweet, and mapley. They add a touch of vanilla that takes it to the next level.

Chocolate & Sea Salt - Sweet and chocolate. The flavor is distinct, and not like the barely chocolate chocolate products.

Cinnamon & Sugar - These are good, but uninspiring. I've been buying them from Grocery Outlet, and I'll get two bags a week til they're sold out. These are to stretch out the maple and chocolate, which I prefer

Special case...

Pumpkin Spice. I like pumpkin spice a lot, but I like it only in the fall. I buy all the PS crap as an accent to my favorite season, and don't want it out of season. It's typical pumpkin spice. You either like it or you don't.

All the sweet varieties are a nice way of having something sweet without overloading on sugar. They're truly a healthy snack if you don't go overboard on them. One seed at a time makes the experience last longer. If you shovel handfuls in your mouth, they'll be gone quick, and you'll get fat :^D Highly recommend this brand.

Discussing which is your favorite Oreo is like asking which is you favorite minor league team.

A chocolate chip cookie is better than any Oreo. Although Oreo's can almost be brought up to the chocolate chip level with a good layer of fudge.

If you want a really excellent homemade chocolate cookie, put it in the freezer right out of the oven. Then next day they can be thawed and the chocolate chips are extra crunchy. YUM!!!!!!

I have been traveling a lot lately and eating out a lot. The Popeye's classic chicken sandwich with the beans and rice side is pretty darn good. I usually eat it at least once or twice a week while I am in AZ.

I found a place there called Cheba Hut Toasted subs. Thought I would try it because I really like when the bread on a sub sandwich is toasted. Got the widow maker with no onions or tomatoes and was completely surprised with what came out. It was freaking delicious. After my 4th visit there I realized that the toasted is in quotation marks and it was more referring that it is a place to go when you are toasted. It seems to be a requirement that all the employees partake in the kind herb, so it may not exactly be fast food, but it is darn good!

The chocolate chips inside a chocolate chip cookie are not supposed to be crunchy, they should be melty and gooey.

Cheeba is slang for marijuana

The entire place is centered around getting high. There's one downtown that I've been meaning to go try. The Sandwiches come with their seasoning which they call shake (weed lingo) And their sandwich names are take-offs of different strains of Marijuana or something related to getting high. It's an interesting concept for a restaurant, they'll get stoners coming by the droves. But I'm sure a lot of anti drug people will be too offended to go. Them serving Kool Aid is pretty hilarious. And the teen in me that never grew up chuckled when I saw the 5-0 sandwich with "all the pig" in it. 5-0's west coast slang for police and it being all pork meats on it's kinda cute. And them using a Marajuana leaf to symbolize their vegaterian sandwiches is pretty amusing. I think the entire place being based on getting stoned will go over some people heads, but for anyone who even remotely knows about Marajuana it's obvious. When I 1st saw it on Yelp last year, since weed's legal here for a few minutes I legit was thinking they were serving infused sandwiches lol.

It's 4.3 with 400+ reviews on Yelp, with the concept, it would seem like it's just a super gimmicky spot. But people rave about it so it's not just a joke. And based off the review it's not just good it's maybe the best sandwich spot around (here anyway) I dunno why I haven't been yet, but your post reminded me I need to get my ass there. Maybe today. A sandwich with 5 different forms of pork and a side of Kool Aid to wash it down sounds delicious. They also have a PB&J toasted sub, that's something only a stoner could have came up with lol.

I stopped at a Togo's last week and was very disappointed. Got a small pastrami on wheat combo and it was $17! The meat portions were small, and they put the meat in the sandwich last, which gave the appearance that there was a lot of it, but you didn't get a good combo of meat and veggies and bread per bite. The bread was also just kinda bleh. I used to like Togos but won't be going there anymore. In my area, we don't have those awesome delis you see in shows or on social media where you can meats too. Only deli places we got are the fast food ones, Subway, Togos and Deli Delicious. DD is the best by far. There is a deli in the local Savemart, but I'm not a fan of their breads.

I've tried just about every Reese's product on the market:

1. The OG is best
2. The OG wrapped minis (in foil) are also excellent
3. The season shapes are generally pretty great as the PB ratio is increased but still balanced with the chocolate (ex. the Reese's eggs are A+)

I understand that is the traditional way for chocolate chip cookies, I still say my way is darn good.
Let's put it this way, at family gatherings I was laughed at because I would take my ice cream and put it in the microwave for about 14 seconds. Until others started to do it. Now they take the ice cream out about half an hour before it is to be served to soften it up.
