good day dear friends,
I am installing Linux on all my notebooks and desktops:
some time ago i noticed that it lists installing Grub as an advanced option. I have made up my mind bout Grub
So here my questions: why do you use Grub - i do not know much about Grub - and yes: i am sure that all i know and write here
is biased or probably incorrect so feel free to dissuade me.
Why should /could we use GRUB?
It was developed primarily for multibooting purposes when there was no UEFI yet.
Now we have more - note we have UEFI and we can multiboot without additional layers of complexity.
So is it pretty clear that we have some benefits while using systemd-boot or EFISTUB - that said: are such ones - such systems even more simple and elegant solutions.
Plz lemme know your ideas and thought
I really appreciate your ideas and comments
