article said:
But those around him—the far-right think tanks and political operatives shaping this agenda—are playing a longer, darker game. Trump’s tariffs aren’t just bad economics. They’re a declaration of economic war on the half of America that didn’t vote for him. This is deliberate and strategic. It’s a cultural counter-revolution disguised as industrial policy. And we know it’s not about economic leverage because Trump isn’t even pretending these tariffs are a negotiating tactic—he intends to make them permanent.

As I said last month, the project is about deskilling America: reducing white-collar work through AI and remote job cuts, destroying universities, starving higher education, using tariffs to wall off the country as a manufacturing-and-extraction island, gutting the cities, and pushing men into manual labor while nudging women into domestic roles. It’s not incoherent—it’s a plan being implemented methodically.

I'm afraid to say that his theory makes a lot of sense.

Not really. Such a conspiracy requires planning and foresight and a deep understanding of how the economy works. You are giving the guy, who in his first term, said he’d fix the trade imbalance between the US and china, left office with an even bigger trade imbalance.

I think Occam’s razor applies here; another grift by our grifter in chief.

I’m sure we’ll start seeing stories about politicians who had the good fortune of timing trumps chaos just right.

Yes, the chosen insiders got rich for sure. I don't think Patel or Bondi is looking that way or will in the future. "It's good to be the king". MB

Occam's Razor says will it piss off or denigrate black people? He does it. Racist simplicity.

Had to look it up:

The phrase "It's good to be the king" is a well-known line from the 1981 Mel Brooks film "History of the World, Part 1". In the movie, Mel Brooks portrays the King of France, a lecherous monarch just before the French Revolution, and the line is a comedic expression of his power and privilege. The phrase has gained popularity and is often used as a sarcastic or humorous commentary on the advantages of power and authority.

In the scene, he fondles bosoms and looks at the camera while reciting the line.

Yea... mmmm... I get it but... Let me counter with this: What the fuck does Trump want with Greenland? It sure as fuck is not his own idea, someone else is pushing it. Who?

Remember he started talking about this in his first term.

The notion came from Ronald S. Lauder, the New York cosmetics heir who had known Trump since college. "A friend of mine, a really, really experienced businessman thinks we can get Greenland," Mr. Trump told his national security adviser. "What do you think?"

And remember this.

“You take a look at a map. I'm a real estate developer. I look at a corner, I say, 'I've got to get that store for the building that I'm building,' etc. It's not that different," Trump said. "I love maps. And I always said: 'Look at the size of this. It's massive. That should be part of the United States.'"

I see in Trump a person whose success in life is based on the capacity he has for shameless behavior. He thrives on being morally disgusting and on others hesitance to respond in kind. He has never been prevented from harming others because so many people wish they could do the same and will willingly support him if their subservience will make them feel immune to his violence themselves. He believes that there is only so much that can gratify ego and he should have it all himself. This is what makes him a fool. Nobody can truly be happy as long as others are miserable in this world needlessly.

You don't need an opinion piece to change people's minds.. you just need to critically think.

Q: Why would they get rid of the Department of Education and want to lower our collective education standards?

A: In a kingdom of the blind (or uneducated).. a one eyed man is king!

Nobody think's Trump is the one designing the executive orders. He's too stupid for that. His allies and project 2025 people are helping him tailor his methods in a way that effectively does what he wants without technically doing. (Firing everybody in charge of nlrb to cripple it without technically repealing it etc)
