Not quite sure how to read this, but on the surface, it sounds like Ukraine has finally indicated a willingness to sign a minerals deal with the US (or at least agreed to the framework of a deal) and Trump/Rubio responded by moving the goalposts.

The betrayal is about to be real then.

So... US tech is done for... and they are denying to sell it to Europe? What an idiot
Since it is 2020-2023 it is before Trump's return, but it just keeps accelerating as Europeans wants to boost European economy, bust most of all because US is no longer considered a reliable partner.

Actually, his efforts to connect his regime with the Orthodox church and their christian god have been rather constant for a number of years now. He's got another former KGB spook running the church after all. Russia is godly and the West are just a bunch of gender confused heathens who lust for nazism, that's the message more or less. Putin is as much of a theologian as he is a historian these days, he sees orthodox christianity as another arm of the state. He certainly believes in the utility of religion.

Doing something brief like this is just window dressing for that effort, as well as to say 'See, Russia doesn't have a problem with cease fires.' This is how Putin answers the outrage over him targeting a playground in the middle of the day, murdering innocent civilians and children (again). Russians have a shit record of living up to this kind of stuff though, could well just be back to the old 'break everything, blame them' approach. I guess we'll see soon.

AFU will probably go along with it. Congrats on the temporarily drone reprieve Yuri. Maybe now you can devote some real time to finding primo puddles to drink from. Maybe steal that last remaining donkey before the norcs do. Shashlik time.

State religion, something I guess to look forward to.

-If there is anything we've learned watching Putin and his understudy Donald, it's that words matter more than action (or facts, or anything).

The Church is just another vehicle for oppression, all mouthpieces who reinforce each other's lies and warp the minds of their followers to believe them rather than believe what their eyes, ears and ironically their God given minds tell them.

There's a bit more context to the moved goalposts.
It's a threat against Ukraine, as they are not surrendering fast enough for Agent Krasnov.
A complete intel blackout is coming again very soon, and this time it will not be lifted.

Rubio’s comments target Kyiv, risk aid suspension

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s remarks about possibly abandoning Russia-Ukraine ceasefire talks were intended to pressure Kyiv, not Moscow, and could lead to a suspension of military aid

If you're bored check out this video about Ukraine using portable 3D printers from Australia to print parts for their war effort.

Hey friends, Wes here—today we’re looking at how 3D metal printers are quietly changing the way Ukraine fights and wins on the battlefield.

Let’s talk about how Australia’s SPEE3D 3D metal printers are helping Ukraine turn battlefield losses into same-day repairs. These printers aren’t lab toys—they’re $1 million, diesel-hardened, supersonic cold spray machines that are now embedded on the front lines in places like Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia.

In this video, I cover:

How WarpSPEE3D printers work:

• Uses supersonic metal spray (over Mach 2) to fabricate hardened components in hours
• Doesn’t require lab conditions—runs in tents, on tarps, in diesel smoke
• Capable of building mission-critical parts like brackets, mounts, and drivetrain components for tanks, IFVs, and artillery

Why this matters in combat:

• Ukraine can now fabricate what it used to wait weeks or months to receive
• Replaces broken Cold War-era parts with on-demand reverse-engineered replacements
• Enables adaptive repairs, improving designs under fire rather than just replicating them
• Empowers soldiers and engineers at the tactical edge—not just the depot

Australia’s role:

• Delivered 7 printers through the U.S. DoD’s Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative
• 3 more are coming, plus $13 million in additional battlefield support from the Albanese government
• Australia is exporting not just gear—but a philosophy: “Fix it where it breaks. Print it if it doesn’t exist.”

This video isn’t just about metal printers. It’s about changing the rules of war, where whoever can adapt faster, fix more creatively, and outlast disruption is going to win. And thanks to some brilliant engineers in Melbourne—and some fearless soldiers in Ukraine—that future is already here.

SPEE3D printers are the shit. Aussies really hit it out of the park with that gear. Definitely have some talent down there.

'Stralia is the home of the DefendexD40 drone munition for instance, something I'm keeping my ears perked up about. Poland already got some, more than 300 to be sent to Ukraine supposedly, I'm really interested to see what AFU thinks of it. Sounds pretty nasty to be on the receiving end of. You engage an infantry unit and within minutes *distant thoop thoop sounds* they've got eyes 400ft above you and are directing a swarm of semi autonomous grenade drones at you. 30m run time, integrates with existing drones in field if needed.

Can set them out on perimeter, to react to fire calls or intrusion. Little death daises, popping up to say privet. Yikes. They'd also make fine ammo/options for a drone packin a Skyborne Havoc 5 40mm launcher (also Australian). They make a 10 shot 12 gauge system too, get some!

Putin says there will be an Easter truce. As usual we’ll see.

Comments on the 'truce'....

6/ Ultimately, this is about Putin giving the Trump administration a little sugar. Putin does not want the war to end, he does not want to step back from his maximalist objectives. But he doesn’t want the Americans to step away from their role in negotiations - which Rubio & Trump have hinted at.

7/ Putin wants to keep the U.S. engaged in negotiations for as long as possible because: 1. The American position favours Russia; and, 2. The Ukrainians & Europeans having to deal with Witkoff and co. is wasting time and ensuring they can’t focus on more important strategic initiatives.

8/ And, the current negotiations are sowing chaos among allies, which Putin likes & exploits.

Much more in the thread - https://bsky.app/profile/warinthefuture.bsky.social/post/3ln72m46kcc2m

So basically Russia stonewalls Trump and in exchange Trump with drawls all aid (including intelligence) to Ukraine.... Seems like the outcome is obvious.

It gets worse. USA "peace deal" is essentially this:
  • Ukraine, no US support, no NATO, no foreign troops. ZERO outside security.
  • Russia, sanctions lifted, full support for their mass military economy, recognition of stolen land.
Peace in our time baby, no one could ever imagine historical lessons from Chamberlain. Or Russian betrayal on "agreements". Especially not with USA doing everything possible to restore Russian economy and military strength. While handicapping Europe.

If I was Ukraine, I would only accept this ceasefire with the backing of a full speed nuclear weapons program.
Initial Russia invasion force was 200k. Next one would be 2-3 million. With lessons learned. You don't want that scenario without nuking Russia.

This 'it's not our war' horseshit is already very tiresome. What I respond with is 'No, it's our ally and it's our future. America First means Ukraine winning and Russia not being rewarded for acting like Hitler.' This is simple math. If you need a treasonous orange moron to be your calculator, I have bad news... Where was this political delineation of yours with Gaza or Yemen?

Russia wasn't serious about stopping the war Rubio - like everyone has been saying since long before the disaster that got you into office! Now it's time to apply pressure to change minds, just as Trump officials like Kellogg stated weeks ago. That pressure comes in the form of "arming Ukraine to the teeth." It's a long shot I know, Trump only cares about what he can get and appeasing Putin.

Still, everyone needs to keep bringing this up, calling their senators to remind them. What does Trump think about Macron and Merz being the Heroes of The West, of America losing it's prestige under Trump's err, presence? Turn that petulant, malleable, ego driven mind towards some helpful competition. He acts like he doesn't care what people think but as we've seen for years now, that just isn't the case.

Russia is desperately struggling to maintain a force about 1/10th that size. They would collapse in that scenario and it would be very, very quick.

There are over 600,000 Russian soldiers in Ukraine. With some 40,000 casualties each month. If you pause the war AND remove sanctions, AND have the US fighting to boost Russia's economy... their military buildup would be nothing to scoff at. They are absolutely NOT 1/10th that size. Right now the limiting factor is the strain of attrition as Russia approaches 1 million casualties.

Do not pretend a ceasefire and coordinated economic restoration efforts would not benefit them.
Preparing Russia for the next stage of their continental war against Europe is on MAGA's agenda.
It must be opposed and defeated.

The casualties are absolutely not the limiting factor. The inability to supply the force is. They would have no hope of supplying a force that large and would collapse.
