-You just have to look at it the right way.

Like "These children gave their lives for the cause of FREEDOM(TM)!"

Boom, problem solved and no one had to get vaxxed.
These people are so far removed from the problems our ancestors solved that they think the mitigation measures are no longer required, and not only that, that the mitigation measures are also *worse*. Some of it is to scam people out of their money, and some of it is just complete Idiocracy. These "leaders" need to be flogged through the streets for inflicting unnecessary harm onto children and for leading families astray with their shameless lying.

Letting it run rampant is exactly how you create new strains... these people are idiots.
Also, will force the doctors to step down and even more... what if most to not to say ALL the doctors starts to rebel and does not attend those patients? even worse, what if now goes to a BIG strike?

So apparently rfk Jr, made light of measles deaths by say only 300 US kids die per year out of 2M.
This was in the 50's when he grew up and his facts ,as usual were a little off.

In those years there were around 500K measles cases per year's with about 500 deaths.

What's disturbing is that he just accepts 300-500 deaths per year as ok. Every 10 years, that's 5,000 kids that didn't need to die. Not to mention the hospitalizations that saved even more kids from dying.

This person should be no where near any medical decision making of anyone's children.
Remember, this asshole said that shooting up heroin made him a better student.

🙄🙄🙄
500 kids per year is a small price to pay to avoid creating more autistic kids, obviously.

/s just to be safe

Strikes me there's a contradiction between RFKjr's pronouncements about autism, and Musk's claims to have it himself.

I have mixed feelings about autism myself, but even I can see there's something offensively crude and simplistic about RFK's prononcements on it.

Calling it a "disease":
“This is a preventable disease, we know it’s environmental exposure, it has to be,” said Kennedy. “Genes do not cause epidemics, they can provide a vulnerability, but you need an environmental toxin,” he said, despite known evidence against this claim.

claiming research on it has been 'censored':
“We’re going to remove the taboo – that people will know they can research and follow the science no matter what it says, without any kind of fear that they’re going to be censored,” said Kennedy.

Claiming people with autism are a burden on society
“Autism destroys families, and more importantly, it destroys our greatest resource, which is our children … These are kids who will never pay taxes. They’ll never hold a job. They’ll never play baseball. They’ll never write a poem. They’ll never go out on a date. Many of them will never use a toilet unassisted.”

LOL, this administration cancels all NIH grants, puts hundreds of scientists out of a job, locks away cancer researchers after canceling their visas, and shuts down research into forever chemicals and pollutants…but sure, they’ll find the cause of autism by September.

They will definitely ‘find’ the cause of autism by September.

Spoiler alert: they will ‘find’ it is vaccines and that massive amounts of authoritative research is all wrong but the quack they hired is right.

My cousin is "old school" autistic (enough to have been diagnosed in the 80s), he was completely non-verbal until he was nine years old. He had to wear a helmet because he'd get so frustrated at not being able to communicate he'd charge head-first into a wall.
He works at Walmart now.

We can add ending the women’s health initiative to the list of actual valuable work being shut down

I have a _lot_ of thoughts on the topic myself, but not sure it's worth getting into that side-argument. There seem to be multiple arguments that go on around the topic (not least the severe divergence of views between parents of children with "severe autism" - or possibly "autism with comorbidities", depending on what side of the argument one is on - and "high functioning" autistic people).

I do think it's clear that RFKjr doesn't know what he's talking about and that he's even more wrong than I probably am.

RFK Jr. is now looking to make a national autism registry—literally a list of people “afflicted” by the condition. I did Nazi that coming.

They want to make a "study" and a "registry", but you can bet no IRB would approve such an expansive merging of data sets that makes it impossible to de-identify the participants (who are also being tracked without their informed consent, a big fucking thing to have in any human subject research).

Maybe HHS could, like, you know, tattoo their "afflicted" ID # onto their arms or something??? Might not be the final solution, but it's at least a way for them to concentrate on the problem.
It only makes sense to keep things orderly at the wellness camps, that way they can't accidentally lose an ID badge, or eat it, or whatever it is those people do.

Isn't this not a violation of many medical privacy "rights"
The real question is what is the intent behind making such a registry? Lock them up in their own designated space? Cut the money to them most likely.

Wonder where "autism" touched him as i little boy.

well you just fire the entire IRB at every research institute. easy peasy!

Guess math is hard for RFK jr too.
I guess shooting up heroin didn't make him a better student.

RFK Jr.’s absurd statistic on the spike in chronic diseases in the U.S.

"“We’ve got the highest chronic disease burden of any country in the world. When my uncle was president, 3 percent of Americans had chronic disease. Today, it’s 60 percent.”"
"During his confirmation hearings in January, he used a similar talking point about children: “When my uncle was president, 2 percent of American kids had chronic disease. Today, 66 percent have chronic disease.”"

When dumbfuck's uncle was President, the President had chronic illness.

Dumbest timeline.
