Democratic Party - Clueless & Feckless - is the D party done?

I didn't know much about David Hogg besides his origin story and that he got up there in the DNC recently. So this morning on Bluesky I see a few posts completely attacking him by some Dem posters. I figured he did something really stupid. But instead what he is doing is what has been sorely needed - too many Dems are a part of the problem in this country - and for the portion of the responsibility that the opposition party bears for our current situation, which is not just a minor bit - they all need to go. Go David!

Gerry Connelly is stepping down from his house oversight committee ranking member, due to his cancer. I wish him all the best with his health but he's the guy the Democratic establishment fucked AOC for because they suck, so this is a good move politically - hopefully he can focus on his health instead. Let's see what happens next.

For those asking if AOC gets the top slot now: after losing the vote to Connolly, she left the committee. Next up in seniority would be Eleanor Holmes Norton, but they likely won't put a non-voting member on there. Probably Stephen Lynch, though maybe others put up a fight.

The thing is, we all saw this coming - this is an extremely important position and if someone is fighting serious cancer, they should be stepping back from responsibilities and delegating, not taking on more. Not only did they fuck over AOC and fuck up in general, this guy should have never been put into that role - he didn't have it in him due to his health. All just a giant waste of time.
