That works perfectly for me as well, I'm also not happy with liberals using a never-ending "unprecedented crises" as justification for more taxes and even more govt spending, we're doing pretty poor economically in comparison with other G20.
Liberals played it right though - PC was dead set to win the next term. Trudeau resigning was a good call, Trump also helped with approval.
I'm among these converts, 3 months ago I would've voted for PC, not because I like Pollievre, but I dislike Trudeau even more. Carney is more palatable, and the nail in the coffin for me was Carney dropping the new "capital gains inclusion rate" change libs were trying to push. That was a big beef for me as it would've affected me big time one day.
Economy is the biggest factor for me and PC really had a low bar to meet, but sadly their stance on other subjects too much against my liking. If only they could learn for the next elections...
