If you are in Canada, how can you be unfamiliar with the BQ? Do you totally ignore politics?I'd prefer a liberal govt that is more fiscally conservative.
NDP sure, I'm not too familiar with BQ's views tbh.
I'm not professionally involved with politics, I don't live in Quebec, and there's never been a BQ candidate in my riding, so forgive me if I'm uncertain where on the left-right spectrum BQ is.If you are in Canada, how can you be unfamiliar with the BQ? Do you totally ignore politics?
"Fiscally conservative" usually goes with "Socially conservative" because it usually involves shutting down programs that help vulnerable people in the name of saving money, usually combined with tax cuts for "job creators", IOW Trickle Down economic BS.
I'd prefer the Liberals to be fiscally responsible. Have a solid economic plan and execute. As a highly lauded economist with tons of in the trenches practical experience, Carney seems well equipped to do that.
I hope fiscally conservative means something different in Canada than it does in the US because every time the "fiscal conservative" party in the US won the trifecta in the last 40 years they ballooned the deficit.
Also, it was the guy's left hand. Nazi salutes, as demonstrated by Elon and Adolf, are made with the right hand.Thank you.
@Red Squirrel still think he was doing a Nazi salute? You might wanna check your news sources, they've clearly been lying to you.
Generally speaking, fiscal conservativism or fiscal responsibility just means "don't spend money on things I don't like."If you are in Canada, how can you be unfamiliar with the BQ? Do you totally ignore politics?

Traitor Smith's government is slowly imploding. The current scandal should be enough to get her to step down sooner or later.ATL is so blue it is scary; Carney will need to do something with that Maple MAGA Smith.
What was the definition of insanity again? Not sure why they keep going for it when they know it doesn't work but giving money to the bottom half spurs economy activity. Everyone comes out ahead in that situation. It's the same fairy tale. Tighten spending supposedly balanced by tax cuts that will spur growth.
The reality is that the wealthy just pocket the tax cuts, so there is no growth, and the tax cuts are usually bigger than the spending cuts (usually ideologically aimed at social programs), so you end up in even a worse fiscal position.
But at least some rich people got more money in their hordes, and the lives of some disadvantaged people, was made worse by those social program cuts, so the extra money it cost was not a total loss.

and attempted witness tampering, attempted concealing of evidence and a retroactive reason for dismissal of said whistleblower.Private Healthcare contract corruption
I mean who knew private providers would inflate prices and politicians would pressure the healthcare CEO to sign deal.

Corruption happens with every political stripe. Some are worse than others on the aftermath.Ah, conservatives...the grift that keeps on giving.
I agree, it's just funny to see conservatives scream about free markets, small gov't, etc....meanwhile their own gov't officials are picking the winners due to personal connections.Corruption happens with every political stripe. Some are worse than others on the aftermath.
It's the inflating prices part that is the bigger problem. And all the coverup efforts.I agree, it's just funny to see conservatives scream about free markets, small gov't, etc....meanwhile their own gov't officials are picking the winners due to personal connections.
Aside from that it looks like a couple of people had direct connections to companies given contracts. And audits of that was trying to be quashed? It's the inflating prices part that is the bigger problem. And all the coverup efforts.
