I know PVC and ABS prices are very high now days but that is crazy! Although I'm surprised you can even buy a 12" fitting as a consumer. I wonder if they just price gouge knowing that big companies and municipalities are the ones buying fittings in those size ranges.

Walked down to the fish monger for fish & chips, and it kind of sucked. It was simultaneously over and under done. Like the grease temp was too low, so they left it in longer to make up for it. I've been wanting fish & chips forever, and it was a big disappointment. $16, and it wasn't even as good as the frozen aldi version($5) which they didn't get this year :^(

Most of the bars and restaurants in Ocean Shores sell battered fish...I prefer panko crusted...so I go to a place in Aberdeen that makes very good panko crusted fish and chips.

Went outside to continue working on the garage, just wasn't feeling it, ended up going for a walk to at least get some air and coming back inside after. This cold I caught a week or so ago is not 100% gone so think it's still draining me a bit so maybe it's best I stay inside where it's warm anyway.

My wife and I go to Ocean shores once a year and the only food I like in that town is that mexican place. There used to be that sketchy seedy blue place. It had great cod but it was shut down last time we went down there.

There were two actual mexican restaurants. One closed...didn't survive COVID. Part of the building became an Italian place that, IMO, isn't worth half the price they charge...the other is still going, but they're afraid of spice and heat...plus my wife got food poisoning twice there...so we no longer go there. If you want good seafood, hit Breakwater in Aberdeen. Kind of a run-down looking place right on the river by Walmart, but, IMO, best seafood in town.

I was wondering why my coffee had not finished brewing yet as it seemed like it had been a while since I set it and it should have beeped by now. So went down to check, I forgot to turn it on.

Need extra strong coffee today apparently.

I sold something on FB Marketplace on the $1 auction group and of course I'm being ghosted by the only person that bid and won. Typical. It's one freaking dollar come on, just come pick it up!

It would take more than $1 to get me to deal with idiotbook people. That stuff would go to the thriftshop.

Lol yeah hardly worth it, but saves me from having to bring it somewhere. It's a headboard for a bed and it's kinda awkward. They finally got back to me and will come tomorrow to pick it up.

Have to take a test but I don't wanna. Also broke a crucible while trying to seal it with borax. Still usable and kind of funny though.

I tried making a reply to a thread, and I fucking fat fingered some key combination and deleted everything cause of the cast on my hand. Bunch of bullshit. I guess you all will have to do without my amazing wisdom in that case, cause it was too much to do again :^S

Wonder if that's ever happened in history, and we'll never know.

1912, doctor writing report on how to cure this mysterious disease that we now know as cancer. Cat knocks over candle and the whole report immediately goes up in flames and he's able to put it out with the ink bowl but there's nothing left. Alright then, time for a vacation. *buys ticket for Titanic*

When I was in a crappy IT support assistant job (crappy because people there were mostly dumb and expected miracles from me), this guy almost in his 60s calls me for an urgent issue. I get to his station and he's like, I wrote 20 pages in Word and then accidentally selected all and deleted it and pressed CTRL+S coz of habit. How do I get my pages back? I was like, it's gone. Overwritten. And he looked like he didn't believe me and was probably thinking that I was crap at my job. Pretty sure he complained about me behind my back to HR. File versioning wasn't enabled in the domain policy and I wasn't the domain admin (he was in another country) so no easy solution to that guy's problem.

One guy I was able to help was because he saved the document somewhere and couldn't find it. I started a full drive search on all drives in his laptop based on what information he could give me and he finally found it. He was so grateful to me that I thought if he had a daughter, he would tell her, worship this man!

Not sure if this is a FWP or RFWP. I got the ambulance bill from my transport hospital-hospital. I was expecting this...

Turned out it was $1k. That's a fucking expensive ~30 mile uber, but cheaper than I thought it would be. I think I might be happy with it though :^/

This is probably TWP. The FW has better medical care.

Third World has better healthcare than that.
