I think 90% of the problem is her delivery. For anyone who’s watched “Dope Thief” recently, Kamala lacks the “command voice”. Like Hillary, something about her voice just sounds too shrill and turns men off, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum. It isn’t a sexual thing—Kate Mulgrew had a great “command voice” on ST: Voyager and I never found her “attractive”—but I could buy her as a leader of men. Other examples: Oprah, Whoopi Goldberg, Sigourney Weaver, Kathy Bates, and Jodie Foster all have a voice for leadership. In Dem politics, Mallory McMorrow’s got the “command voice” too, but I’m not sold on AOC (her voice may benefit from age or a few cigars.)
