Apparently he wanted to hook up with people and shoulda gone on Grindr/ Tinder but ended up at Reddit and that didn't go well at all.
At least my wife enlightened me.. I'm too nice in calling people "friends" when they're not really friends in the first place. A friend is someone you grow up with, so there's a common bond of long term shared experience and roots and you can usually count on them. They are most definitely not someone you just meet in your travels and have a good few weeks with.. even if you keep in touch with afterwards.
Maybe she's is right about this! A much better explanation than they were my friend till they went MAGA.
