Former Vice President Pence will receive the Profile in Courage Award for his actions on Jan. 6

Former Vice President Mike Pence will receive the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award for his refusal to go along with President Donald Trump’s efforts to remain in office after losing the 2020 election.

Pence had a MOMENT of conscience amidst a lifetime of evil deeds. Overturning the election was a step too far for the man on THAT day.
But I'll still condemn him for not being vehemently anti Trump afterwards.

After escaping from the MAGA mob trying to kill him on Jan 6th, Pence needed to be the man LEADING the second impeachment.
Instead, the man has spent a lifetime of being an enabler to this evil MAGA Nazi movement.

That Trump is President again, is proof that Pence failed to do his duty.

Pence is a prime example of what a psychotic form of religion can do to to a person who faithfully tries to practice it. The sick form of Christianity attempts to create a mental prison of pliant devotion and fake generosity intended to open your wallet for obligatory tithings to the church. This is done by convincing children their bodies are the home of the devil and the source of evil and that natural feelings belonging to people everywhere by their evolutionary past make them guilty by insuring they believe God is listening to and judging their thoughts. So the God fearing man is actually a psychotic. The church can insure that you never really believe you are worthy of Gods love when love is what God is. Sin is that which you have been taught to hate about yourself and imagine you have escaped its grip via faith. But that kind of faith is the sickness itself.

The real danger to your soul is fearing God for the wrong reason. What one should worry about when it comes to belief in God is becoming a nut case. That's how you wind up in hell.

The only upside is that it is an insult to Trump, but even that positive is dulled by the fact that Trump doesn't truly understand it.

I think it's perfectly fair to point out how Pence is generally an awful person and did a lot to enable Trump. Doesn't change the fact that he exhibited enormous courage that day and I'm fine with recognizing it.

It's probably more productive to criticize Republicans when they do bad things and praise them when they do good things instead of just telling them to fuck off no matter what they do as that doesn't sound like a good incentive to do good things!
