Doorbell Camera Recommendations

I just had a new hurricane/impact door installed. The glass panel is frosted, allowing me to see shadows on the other side but no details. Hence, my need for a doorbell camera. You can see from the photo it's located on the side wall. How effective are the wedge kits at getting the camera aiming down the walk so I can see who is approaching? Is there a better alternative?
My needs for this are quite basic. I need to know who is at my door, and two way talking. That's pretty much it. Recommendations, please. Thank you.

I’ve had a Ring doorbell pro for 6+ years. It’s OK. I can see my front porch area fairly well and beyond. I also have a Ring Floodlight cam Plus that covers my driveway.

Edit...having looked at the pic on my PC instead of my fone, the wedge mounts aren't going to do a LOT to look down the walk. maybe replace one of your exterior lights with a spotlight cam? I have one on the front of my garage to watch the fckn bears get in my garbage cans. (3 car garage, 3 lights...two match, one spotlight cam)

I have a blink, which i love, because it doesn't require a subscription to view live and can be connected to a local SD card for recording.

I have this too. (^He's probably the one I saw recommended it!)

I also like it because it's lightweight and powered by a (non-rechargeable) lithium battery that lasts for years if triggered infrequently. So you can mount it just about anywhere. This being a DIY forum, you could probably figure out some wedge-ish shaped piece of wood to mount it on.
