The US Navy keeps feeding the Red Sea F-18's

A Navy fighter jet failed to land on an aircraft carrier and plummeted into the Red Sea on Tuesday, marking the fourth major mishap involving the vessel and the third loss of a fighter jet deployed with it since the warship left home last year.

The F/A-18F Super Hornet jet, worth about $67 million, went overboard after an unsuccessful attempt to slow it down upon landing on the USS Harry S. Truman, the Navy said in a statement. Both aviators aboard the jet safely ejected and were rescued at sea by helicopter with minor injuries, and no one aboard the warship’s flight deck was harmed, the service said.

So how many careless accidents resulted in jet losses during Biden's 4 years; it has only taken Trump's navy a few months to see 3 jets carelessly loss @ sea..... what is going on that is happening this sort of sloppiness; did they lay off too many 'good' pilots or is it just coincident ?

Yeah that isn't going to happen. I seriously doubt that a Qatari jet has anywhere near the anti-air defensive capabilities of AF1 never mind the time it would take to retrofit the jet for all the needed military/government comms that have to be onboard.

Of course, Hegseth probably thinks they can all just hang out in lounge bar and do everything using Signal.
