Tesla continues it's sales decline in Europe by as much as 85% in some countries.. so stock is definitely gonna go up some more!

Btw apparently he named his cars:

Model S
Model 3
Model X
Model Y

So the next ones are likely gonna be:

Model 8
Model O
Model 0
Model B
Model 5

Or most likely the limited edition for the fans Model 55!

Any thoughts on ROKU here? It's a stock I've been looking at.

They're at the bottom of their price target. The debt is not great, like half a billon dollars. BUT -

They have great household penetration (like 90 million). They also predict profitability in 2026. Their stuff is however manufactured in China.

Not sure what to think.

The analysts appear to be mixed on the stock as well with targets all over the place.

Exactly. He just needs more time to spin it as a win
In 90 days or whatever we'll get another bump and things will probably go back to the way they were before if this whole mess didn't happen - but somehow spun like this huge win.

Not sure how small business will manage, but mega caps appear to be fine.

Market is reading it as Trump giving up and moving away from the tariff stuff.

I agree that the market is going up TOO much, but whatever.
I, Donald John Trump, promise to waffle on tariffs to get my approval ratings back up while we work on tax policy and then pick it back up in 90 days.

Maybe.

It does go to show how badly China owns the US (and the West in general).
Without America, China would likely be nothing more than on overpopulated 3rd world region specialing in tea, spice and silk production. They become very wealthy selling us goods, stealing IP and forcing partnerships on American companies.

China needs to be punished for its insolence because they prospered from our poor trade deals. We should have a permanent baseline tariff with China of 20% to offset our deficit spending.

China and American investors have done quite well under the current arrangement. American companies weren’t forced into anything, they went to China to make a quick buck and did so spectacularly. American workers got shafted by labor arbitrage while their former employers made bank.

-Without China, The US would have faced a united Sino-Soviet front during the cold war. Nixon's trip to China facilitating the Sino-Soviet split is honestly one of the masterstrokes of American foreign diplomacy... ever.

Also we got tons of relatively cheap stuff and the collapse of the Soviet Union out of it, so there is that.

Can these tech share prices hold for another week? I have a lot of vested RSU shares I want to swap for different asset classes when lockup ends, thanks.
Well that worked out well. Sold first big chunk today. As a bonus the most recent grant share price calculation was done during the liberation day market manipulation so already worth 20% more on paper.

Our hope was to overthrow Communism and install a genuine democracy through trade. It failed.

- It failed insofar as we have created something way more dangerous than some piddling Chinese agrarian communist "utopia".

China is a corporation now, they went from communist to hyper capitalist and left our heads spinning in the process. Whole country is literally run like a business, the way American Republicans claim they would like to run America. They didn't democratize, they corporatized and we're shook as fuck and haven't figured out how to piece ourselves back together for a functional response.

My broadcom stock went from -34% to -6%.

Google and Amazon are still down a bit.

Sorta feel silly for not DCA'ing but at least I didn't sell in the red like a Panican!

That said I'll likely sell when it's green and just go index etf's. That way if a company goes bad.. it's automatically kicked from the etf and I just have to watch 1 number.. not multiple ones.

Back to record highs for my portfolio.

While ideologies forced sector rotations for others, I stayed the course.

Microsoft laying off 3%.
Stock near all-time-high? Check.
Quarterly profits higher than recent quarters? Check.
Annual profits higher than any recent year? Check.
Fiscal outlook upbeat and rosy? Check.

Only possible conclusion from the results above: layoffs of the people that helped make it happen.
