It wasn't in Trump's manner of speaking or writing but was full of his kind of thinking and attitude. Just how it got into his account I can't exactly say. Certainly Trump didn't type it in. He had someone else "write" it and post it. I presume he told them what to say.
It doesn’t matter who wrote it, it was done with his consent.

Trump calling anyone, literally ANYONE ELSE a “pushy, obnoxious jerk” just cements the utter lack of self awareness within his entire entourage.
Trump is lots of fun. Not only does he seem profoundly deficient in self awareness, I'm betting he doesn't even know it exists to varying degrees in others. The thought suddenly popped into my head it may have all started when he tried to nurse from his Dad. The bounce off the wall may have damaged his head.

Yeah yeah, I know. I'm self aware enough that could be a projection.

Did you serve, or look for a way out?
Don't preach at me about commitment when the only thing you've ever committed to was a cushy job and paying lip service to a movement as long as it cost's you nothing and has no risk.
I would have looked for a way out but didn't have to because I failed my physical. I'd been seeing doctors for a year because of a back injury. I didn't fake it. If I hadn't failed my physical I would likely have gotten a student deferment prior to being inducted, it so happens.

You don't know shit about me, you miscreant. WTF is this about a cushy job? Never had one in my life. Lip service? You don't know me or what I've done with my life. Fuck off.

Of course it matters that he didn't write it. It purports to be him but isn't. It points out his dishonesty. The fact that he has other people writing material represented as his own is further evidence of his incompetence.

Before you come at me with another slander I'll add that the injury occurred and I began treatment before the draft was instituted. Yeah, fuck you.

It pains me to think of what it must have been like for young men of the Vietnam draft era especially politically aware. I can just imagine the internal anxiety many opposed to the war must have felt, dodging the draft and 55 thousand or so as I remember dead who went. Were they cowards or sensibly avoiding dying for a blind fool like Nixon?

I do think it would be nice when they give us wars that nobody showed up, but it must make those who did go some good feelings of duty met.

A followup at The New York Times:

By Shawn McCreesh
Shawn McCreesh is a White House correspondent. He reported from Washington.

May 16, 2025
After spending much of the week touring the Middle East in the company of Gulf leaders not known for tolerating dissent, President Trump was reminded on Friday that in his own country, people are free to say whatever they would like about their president.

He did not seem terribly comforted by this reality.

While flying back to Washington on Air Force One, he had evidently become aware that Bruce Springsteen had slammed him on Wednesday while performing in England. Shortly after the plane took off from Abu Dhabi’s international airport, Mr. Trump posted on social media: “This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare.’ Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”

There were other posts aimed at other critics.

“Has anyone noticed,” Mr. Trump wrote in one of them, “that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Shortly after that one, he took a swipe at “grandstanders” in the Republican Party and “radical left losers” getting in the way of his agenda and the Supreme Court, which he said was “being played.”

It is not unusual for this president to be fighting on the internet with celebrities or political opponents or even the Supreme Court, but his posting spree read like a comedown of sorts after four days spent basking in the kind of opulent splendor and lavish praise he found in the Middle East, which so delight him.

And his vague threat on Friday about what may await Mr. Springsteen upon his return to the United States seemed ominous, since these days so many of his threats have turned out not to be empty ones.

Asked what exactly Mr. Trump was implying, Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, would only send back a string of insults about Mr. Springsteen’s career.

“The America I love,” he said during his show in Manchester, “is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration.”

Mr. Springsteen went hard at the White House.

“They’re rolling back historic civil rights legislation that has led to a more just and plural society,” he said. “They’re abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom. They’re defunding American universities that won’t bow down to their ideological demands.”

The remarks by Mr. Springsteen, who campaigned for Kamala Harris, got a lot of attention at a time when many public figures in American life have avoided criticizing a president who campaigned on enacting retribution and has in many ways delivered on that promise.

A representative for Mr. Springsteen did not return requests for comment.

Odd times when we need our president to make big mistakes. It's true, though. He needs to be brought down several notches.
Springsteen is hugely famous, has essentially unlimited resources, and one of the biggest megaphones in the world.

What is Trump going to do? Arrest him? Audit him? I bet Bruce would like nothing better as it would turn out very badly for Trump.

I hope you’re right as that would be a big mistake on Trump’s part.

Yep, If the Homeland Security goons try to keep Springsteen from returning to our country, the backlash will be spectacular. Springsteen must know this and prepared for it. Springsteen is refraining from addressing Trump directly while still getting his point across. You just know that's gotta fry the sociopathic narcissist's ass, since he can't resist the personal attack.

Imagine the cognitive dissonance required for Donald to make fun of someone because of their looks. Orange faced, white eared, cotton candied haired, vagina necked imbecile in the glassiest of houses throwing fist sized rocks around.

At least the "dried out old prune" still has his full set of marbles. and can control his bodily functions. He could kick Trumps ass blindfolded.

I think at worst they will just hold him up at customs, ask a bunch of questions, maybe confiscate his phone, etc. He'll still get in. It will be a blip on the new normal radar and forgotten in a week.

The draft came shortly after JFK was assassinated. I was appalled by JFK's assassination, got depressed and dropped out of school for the first time, right at the end of that semester.

I dropped out so many times I lost count and literally have to count on my fingers to come up with the number. I eventually graduated and was accepted to grad school. I dropped out of that because I was tired of being so poor and also didn't have a goal for post graduate study.

Anyway, having just dropped out of school and searching for my bearings the draft suddenly developed and I got a letter calling me to have a pre-induction physical, which I failed as explained above.

All that notwithstanding the last thing I wanted to do then was be sent to the other side of the world with the prospect being that I'd be a foot soldier in guerrilla warfare in the jungles of Vietnam. I wrote all that because I wanted to share this song:

Michael Blessing - The New Recruit

Always hated Springsteen's music. But I must say, I appreciate him a lot more now. Keep getting under his skin Bruce!

Well it's a good thing he didn't say 8647.

That could get you investigated. James Coney took his post down and the puppy killer herself is investigating.

"Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, whose agency oversees the Secret Service, said on X that DHS and Secret Service were "investigating this threat and will respond appropriately."

Fucking snowflake mofos. Getting 86'd is an ancient term for getting someone tossed out of a bar. Or just getting rid of of them. It's never been associated with assassination.
Meanwhile, white supremacists posting 14/88 everywhere and messaging directly with government officials and those with influence, and MAGA acting all stupid "those numbers are totally meaningless".

If Trump arrested him upon reentry to the country for some BS reason angry NJ residents would remodel the WH like the British did in 1814.
