When the weather's decent, I keep the backdoor open. That means Spot can hear when I'm pouring food for the inside kittiots, and she sits by the door making me feel guilty for not giving her food. I have a policy of only serving breakfast, and only deviate on christmas eve when I give her a heated can of food as a gift. I still hate disappointing her :^(

This is today's FWP. I done goofed up. I was doing multiple runs so inserted it through temporarily so I don't get them mixed up but forgot to pull it out to terminate it. Can't insert it in the keystone that way, has to be from the back. Yeah had to redo it.

Killed at least 5 hornets so far, looks like they are getting into my basement somehow. Fun...

They seem weak, and always go for the window at least. Just don't want them making it upstairs and possibly stinging the cats.

I suspect they are coming in through the wood stove somehow, maybe in the intake. Once the stove is cooled off I need to empty the ash tray so I will find out when I open that up.

I broke a mineral specimen in two awhile back and thought I'd try gluing it. Superglue did nothing. I tried spray glue, spraying a puddle of the glue onto a piece of cardboard and dipping one piece of the specimen and joining it to the other piece. It seems to be working. Once hardened, I'll sand/buff off the excess glue. While I was waiting for the glue to set up, I had my chin resting on my hand. When I moved to checked the specimen, I realized my chin was glued to my hand.

They probably only have one customer service representative for the whole company and he or she is gone to an appointment. Telecom companies are hurting right now and shedding employees faster than my truck sheds rust when I close the door too hard.

How on earth am I supposed to get my meds when I get this message every damn time I try to log into Walgreen's. I've gotten the message twice both times I have tried to log in today.

Not only that but they only partially filled one of my meds so now I've got to call and bug them on Friday to see if they received that med so I don't have to go back to the store. I try my best to only pick up my meds every 3 months for the environment but they make it difficult every flippin' time.

The NUC I used at work to surf internet as well as VPN to my house died on me at some point while I was on vacation. Spent the last 2 night shifts without any access to my home network or sites such as social media, as my password manager is at home and I need to VPN in to access it. Made for long nights.

I ended up setting up the VPN on the box I use for my TV at home and brought this in to work for now. That was non trivial though because to make matters worse we also lost the regular public wifi which had a static IP and that IP was in the allow list for the VPN, now I'm connected to a different wifi so had to go back home to add that IP to the list. Went in early so had time.

This also made me realize I need to setup some better back door access to my network for situations like this while keeping it secure. I want to create some sort of web page I can login to and authenticate which would unblock whatever IP I am coming in from, this would let me be able to VPN from my phone too. Been meaning to do that for a while now, maybe I should get on that.

This would also let me access my security cameras over the phone once I finish setting up that server.

If you have access to your medication by mail jump on that! I get 90 day supplies by USPS.

Ordered Popeyes and got home to see not Popeye fries. Confused I Googled to see if they changed them, and found some Reddits saying if a Popeyes runs out they'll go buy some whatever fries to hold them over until they get their shipment. These aren't bad, but they're nowhere close to the regular ones :| And I got a large order, BOOO.

And so I wouldn't consume a thousand calories on just on a drink, I ordered a gallon of unsweetened tea. I took a big drink and it's sweet fucking tea. And I can't even call because they never answer the phone. Stupidly, all the gallon drinks go in identical bags. Now I gotta go all the way fucking back on my electric scooter and hope they actually have unsweetened tea.

I see why the 3 in my area are all well under 3 stars on Yelp with a lot of reviews lol.
