Anyone else doing the graduation thing this month?

So is anyone else doing the graduation thing over the past or coming weeks? Either HS or college it doesn't matter. Parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, ect. is anyone else here celebrating? No need to share pics I know it is a sensitive thing but post up if you are taking place in a HS or college graduation.

Our youngest son graduated HS today and I can't stress enough how proud I am of him. Here we are before the ceremony.


Here he is after getting home with his diploma.

Nice, congrats! Three of my cousins' kids graduated this year - two HS and one college. Makes me feel old.

All 3 of my grandkids have graduated high school...the last one, 3 years ago. None have really been interested in college. The oldest one put himself through a trade school in plant and industrial mechanical systems...Works for Tesla in one of their MegaPack plants as a tech. The youngest works in a lumber yard...and I get a 20-30% discount on almost everything I buy there. :woot:

Kinda, almost, got a graduation today. Daughter's stepdaughter got her BS today from UTSA ( University of Texas San Antonio). She was 16 when our daughter married her father and it took awhile to gain her acceptance. It's all good now and we're just as proud of her accomplishments as we were for our children's. She will be going into the Physician Assistants program. We didn't get to go to the ceremony (it's 1000 miles away) but daughter sent many pics so we felt a part of it all.

These three are majoring in business, finance, and photography. Could be a long road for them. Good on yours for going into the trades - seems like the way to go for sure.

Congrats!

My youngest nephew will be graduating high school, the 2 other are in university. Makes me feel old lol. Feels like it was not that long ago they were just little kids.

Thanks for the congrats everyone. We are really proud of him. It's nice to see others here have family celebrating as well.

@Dr. Detroit I'm not sure what brand of boot he is wearing but he is heavily considering joining the service. He has been talking with multiple recruiters from different branches and has an interest in military intelligence. His grades in HS were good enough and his test scores were high enough that if he chooses that path he could do it.

Congrats! We celebrated my SIL's graduation from the LVN program a few wknds ago. She finally did it, raising 3 of our nephews and nieces on her own and just completely nailed it.
