Does anyone here use this generation of cards for other purposes than just gaming? I've been wondering about the AMD RX 9000 series for a couple of specific uses:
1) Encoding and transcoding video with Handbrake, and compatibility with Blu-ray/UHD re/authoring programs BD Rebuilder and the DVDFab suite.
So far, these work well with NVENC, but there's no AMD equivalent... or is there?
2) Topaz AI. Can these be recognized and fully utilized by Topaz? What's the processing speed and resulting quality?
I know it's a long shot, but I hope someone else might have the same interests. Because I'd REALLY not pay the outrageous Nvidia prices here in Canada, if I were to change my current 2070 Super for something with more VRAM...
