Question DDR5 6000-6400 Corsair vs TeamGroup vs Crucial Pro

Hi.
Wanted to buy DDR5 RAM 6000 or 6400 (which one?).
Why I decided to choose? well, i got Corsair DDR5 6400 32GB and have hard time with XMP on ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-E GAMING WIFI, couldn't use XMP profile.
I guess Corsair RAM does it.
Checked 64GB NON RGB ones Team T-CREATE EXPERT and Crucial Pro Overclocking ones. Reviews are good, so was Corsair.

Works for me at XMP without issue on my 245KF Gigabyte Z890 Aorus ICE Wifi.

I wanted 64GB version but Patriot Viper Xtreme only got 48GB.

Why do you believe than your XMP issues are RAM related and not Processor Memory Controller hitting a wall? What Processor you have? Did you follow overclocking guides to give slighty more voltage to System Agent or whatever?

I got Ultra 7 265k, tell you the truth i tried just few times.
Saw bad reviews about XMP too for same model and since then was blaming RAM for it.
Can you point good overclocking guide to follow?
I wanted this RAM for second, lower build PC z690 board and for Ultra 7 265k system upgrade to 64GB.
That's why i posted few other brands with little better reviews(i guess).

You will be really lucky to get DDR5-7000 working flawlessly on the Z690. For the Z890, 8400 MT/s should be no problem. But overclocking higher density RAM is obviously more difficult, especially if you don't intend to push a lot of volts through it and don't have active cooling. Z890 doesn't really see much improvement from RAM overclocking anyway.

You need to push D2D, NGU and ring multipliers on Z890 to unlock more performance. D2D and NGU at 32 and ring 40 are pretty safe and effective way to get the most out of your 265K.

He didn't do one for 265K but the principles should be the same. Kinda sucks that it's ASUS only so you will need to figure out the vendor specific names for the settings he talks about if your mobo is a different brand.

There's a section called DRAM tuning in it. And like I explained before, merely running RAM at high speed doesn't help because the CPU stock settings are extremely conservative and greatly bottleneck the CPU, probably because they didn't want a repeat of the 13/14th gen degradation fiasco. But almost everybody has found out that D2D/NGU=32 and Ring=40 is rock stable and leads to a significant perf uplift. XMP is just one switch in the BIOS. It either works or doesn't. If it doesn't work, you have to resort to manual RAM overclocking.
