I know its been underway for a year plus but it is quite a coincidence that a week after we give the goahead to strike deeper into Russia proper they fucking pull this off. Cant help but contemplate if we'e been a drag on these great warriors.
Don't think USA gave the go ahead but Europe did I think there was a lot of factors from the recent attacks on Kivi and the massing of troops. My hope is they can kill a lot of those troops before they get deployed.

If memory serves the only restrictions on strikes into Russia were with weapons the west provided and these weren't provided by the west. So I believe this sort of strike was always 'allowed'.

Generally yes though after some ops the Biden admin/Pentagon was annoyed (Kerch Bridge bombing). Once in a while they told Ukraine not to do that again (Darya Dugin carbombing). After the southern offensive debacle where the US leaked the plan far and wide they stopped telling us much about what they planned to do.

For dealing with true swarms of drones directed energy weapons are needed, specifically high wattage microwave emitters. THOR for instance. Cannon and SHORAD functions are always good to have for back up, but if you're talking real swarms (hundreds of drones at once) you need to be able to drop huge swathes of them immediately, not just clusters. Like a big broom, just sweep them out of the sky, that's what you want.

Need to go old school

Russian media urges the invasion and destruction of the Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Putin urged to attack 3 European countries imminently - 'We must destroy them now'
Vladimir Solovyov says three countries in Europe should be destroyed by Russia before they arm themselves further.
At this point it's easier to try and remember the countries those clowns have NOT said they must destroy.

Russia can't even handle Ukraine, much less any other countries in addition to Ukraine.

Also Russia thinks that Ukraine belongs to them, so using a nuke is basically nuking your own country.
Yes, they'd like Ukraine to be part of Russia, but AFAIK they are not making demands of such or claiming it actually is part of Russia.

They are aware that they signed an agreement to respect Ukrainian sovereignty. I'm not aware that they are claiming otherwise. They have claimed that Russians in Ukraine were mistreated, etc. and that they have acted to right wrongs or that Ukraine has been taken over by Nazis. They want a puppet government in Ukraine that will do the Kremlin's bidding.

That's it, seems that the war against NATO will be real and seems that Putin looks for something.

Damn, that is crazy, he can't win against Ukraine and now this?

Not officially, but if you listen to the ideologists that supports Putin there's no doubt, they want the greater mother Russia back in the long run.

So, there is a need to understand that Russian media / some leadership have been actively calling for the killing of damn near literally everyone and everything since the start of the war in 2022.
Their outburst is not notable as a change in Russian policy, so much as a reminder of what, exactly, Russian policy, goals, and intentions are. What they have always been.
We need to remember who and what we are dealing with in the context of ceasefires and negotiations. The costs and consequences if Ukraine loses this war.

The fact that this war will not end at Ukraine. All of Europe is threatened, and Ukraine is the shield of Europe. Holding the Russian hordes at bay.
We need to remember that, and we need to act accordingly to ensure peace through Ukrainian victory.

When they call for the annihilation of the Baltic states, we need to remember that any Russia victory would only grow Russia's appetite for further bloodshed.

Now cars will be the transport of the material and then they will use caves to transport it, like the Mexican cartel did with the US

No that's us. Russia is a Federation basically run by mafia and ex spooks. I wouldn't expect any chance at a republic until after Putin is dealt with, and odds are against it. But I think even a banana republic would be an upgrade to what Russia is now.

Man, I just had a nice moment of bliss imagining a world without Putin and Trump in it.

...aaaand we're back.

I'm thinking Putin also wouldn't want to contaminate all of the natural resources Ukraine possesses that he'd like to get his greedy expansionist paws on. I'm sure his fellow oligarchs would get really pissed off at Putin irradiating all of that natural treasure they could make a killing off of.

And are in charge of security. Next level machismo.

I had a Polish Drill Sergeant back in Basic that is a spitt'in image of that guy. Originally a tank operator because of his squat height and girth, he somehow evaded the clutches of the Warsaw Pact and their Iron Curtain. Could barely get past his strong Polish accent but was really popular with the trainees. Thanks for the memories.

They're both actual walking talking crimes against humanity. One is as equally horrifying as the other. What that makes of the people who adulate and fawn over these evil despicable men is even more horrifying than that.

Small tactical nukes only polute small areas, and also I don't think they would have much trouble sending criminals and political opponents into radioactive areas mining for minerals.
