My breaker is in the basement but a few of my neighbors have chargers and it doesn't seem like it was a problem getting the line from the basement to the garage.Congrats! Home charging is a fucking rabbit hole. I just hope your panel is near your garage. Mine isn't........ The only thing I would recommend is if you have to run the power and you have the choice of plug or hardwire, if you are the least bit handy have then hardwire it. I had them put in a plug, this requires a GFCI breaker. It has tripped every time have charged my car. They are going to change out the breaker but this will always be in the back of my mind, did the breaker trip overnight? After they change out the breaker I might go ahead and put in a regular breaker and hardwire in my charger so I don't have to worry about that.
