Watching the ILM documentary.
It is so funny that the sound of the laserweapons, the laserweapons fire sounds are actually created by tapping and sliding against a tensioned steel cable. This while recording the sound.

Just learned this today: the three letters that make your lips touch when you say them are B, M and P.
If you start counting out loud, the first number that makes your lips touch together is one million.
To say the letter name, yes. To make the w sound, no.W should be on that list...
oopss!!! LOLTo say the letter name, yes. To make the w sound, no.
A messed up story I encountered today:
Read the 'Aftermath' too.Alfred Dreyfus - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
Sandherr did not live to see the end of the Dreyfus Affair although he was one of its initiators. Struck by a general paralysis (a neurosyphilis-incited meningitis), he had to leave active service in December 1896 and succumbed to his sickness before the scandal came to light.
After the affair and the recognition of Dreyfus's innocence, Gonse was gradually removed from his various functions. He was finally placed in the reserve section in 1903.
Henry was found dead in his cell on the morning of 31 August 1898, having died at some point the previous night. The cause of death was a wound to the throat.[1] While halfway through a bottle of rum and midway through another letter to his wife, Henry wrote "I am like a Madman" and proceeded to slit his throat with a shaving razor. On the day of his arrest, the Colonel had been searched and no razor had been found; this sparked another outcry of murder. However, due to Henry's actions, letters and state of mind, a cause of suicide was declared.
It's fun to go back and watch these sort of things. I discovered that channel a while back and it's fun to go down memory lane.
So it's been 1 year and 3 months since I last checked in to see what his count was. He hasn't slowed down at allHave you ever thought which person has the most posts on any message board? Look no further, let me introduse you to BD9

There had never been a US born Pope... until now.
We got a Packard Bell 486SX 33MHz in '92, the 240MB hard drive crashed not long after it went out of warranty. Happened while I was playing Doom, and made a very discomforting noise. But at least we got to replace it with a 420MB drive.I bought a Packard Bell W95 machines in 95 for around $2k. At that price I had to choose between a 75mhz Pentium with 32mb RAM or 100mhz with 16mb, so I chose the former. Also a 500mb hdd and 2x cdrom.
