Too many variables to answer this broad question....

But if you are asking who should be denied medicare and medicaid the answer is simple. Anyone that does not meet the requirements to draw medicare and medicaid should be denied coverage under these programs. That being said I think life threatening medical services have to be given regardless of any insurance coverage.

I was reading just a few days ago about how the California Medi-Cal program is failed / failing.Too many poor people not enough money...
Why wait until a condition is life threatening? That is literally the most expensive way to deliver healthcare.

It's amazing how easily right wingers believe the lie that only people who are ineligible will be kicked off medicaid. Just like they said they wouldn't pardon violent terrorists from J6, or they wouldn't be targeting legal residents in their deportation frenzy, or DOGE was going to cut a ton of fraud and waste from our government. How many times does reality have to kick them in the ass before they see that republicans lie about this shit?

No, I asked you that question. Since we're now engaged in the discussion, do you think your answer is actually appropriate? That the organization whos budget is being cut is going to be expected to do more work on top of their existing work? Would that work in any other circumstance, industry, etc?

Reductions in force happen all the time in all industries. I'm no expert in HR, but I'm sure most Government employees are not massively overworked.

so medical debt
To be fair, Republicans are in favor of all Americans accruing medical debt, otherwise they would have supported Medicaid for All/Universal Healthcare whenever Democrats put it forward, or, you know, put a policy forward themselves.

Indeed. Pcgeek seems to be saying that medical facilities should be required to render life saving care, yet cutting medicaid will make rhat much harder, with many hospitals closing up shop altogether.

Cant get life saving care if help is 3+ hours away. Checkmate libs

Pcgeeks stance reminds me of a recent town meeting i attended where we reviewes incurred costs to contractors and the town voted not to pay them. Very trumpy thinking

Republican leaders are consistently like this, while their voters seemingly just hand wave it away without critical thinking, and expect others to do the same. Remember first term? Paul Ryan did the same thing

In the last three decades the percentage of federal workers vs total workers has basically been parked at 2% even as the population grew by almost 60 million people and we fought a number of large wars. The idea that the government is excessively bloated from a headcount standpoint or that is suddenly became so somehow (because Obama as my dad likes to say) seems pretty wrong.

Anyway guess where almost all those jobs actually are (Defense and VA). Imposing arbitrary 30% or more headcount cuts on the smaller agencies will certainly impact service delivery which really is the point of all this because the people in charge either don't think the government should provide any of this to the public ever or that contractors will backfill creating theft opportunities.

That was Microsoft’s server 2003 motto. Do more with less
I'm not even sure what that means. 2003 used more disk space, resources, had more files, and did more things than 2000. As far as I'm under every objective measure of quantity, 2003 was more than 2000.

Right wingers will tolerate all kinds of illegality so long as the perps look like them.
