“Rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the left” is so weird. To anyone paying attention he has been problematic since he called a guy a pedophile for refusing to use his looney one man submarine idea. That’s just one example but an old one.

As far as Tesla goes their biggest problem is going to be cars that are increasingly seen as stale in addition to the baggage that comes from Musk.

My only actual question is if Elon did not know the bill killed EV credits or he didn't care until he finally wound up back at Tesla and somebody managed to show him a projection in between benders. Either seems possible lol.
