The Beach Boys were one of my two favorite bands when I was very young, like age 4-5 (the other being the Beatles), and undoubtedly shaped my music tastes going forward for the rest of my life.

I mean it's hard to rank albums but that one is definitely one of the "important" moments in popular music!
