Just curious....how is the weather in your neck of the woods?

7C and raining. We had 2 nice days in a row, so it's too much to ask for more than that these days. They started doing my roof 2 days ago and it's not quite done, just hope we don't get too much wind as it's only the underlayment that's done right now. They would have finished shingles today if it was not for the rain.

I gave myself a challenge to not use the furnace at all this month, and I think I will pull it off, but I went through a LOT of wood. It's been very cold this month other than a few days here and there that were nice.

We hit 1% relative humidity this week. For a vegetated area, that is really hard to do.

Wow that's crazy for spring/summer. We get fairly low humidity in winter when everything is frozen but once things are above zero it's usually in the 30's or higher. 35% indoors right now with wood stove going. 87% outside.

10C and overcast most of the day, the rain stopped at least. They're back at it working on my roof.

I almost lit a fire in the wood stove but figured I'll not do that while they're up there lol.

At midnight it will be June 1st. We have a frost advisory tonight and then it's supposed to be in the mid 80's Tuesday - Thursday. We're having tariff weather now.

Finally getting some good weather, started working on my outdoor projects again.

"Smoke" is not something you often see on the forecast. Getting smoke from forest fires. Probably from the north west, lot of fires in that part of Ontario.

we have been getting a large amount of smoke from the fires in North Western Canada reducing our air quality. I can actually smell it here.

Getting a bit of smoke here too, and can smell it a bit too, but not as much today as a few days ago. Or maybe my sense of smell just got used to it. Kinda crazy to think how far it travels.

Can really see it in the air when looking far.

62F currently. Weather's been mild for how late we are in the year so far. Mostly in the 90s with a few 100s. Went for a walk this morning and had to turn around and get a sweater.

We had about the nastiest thunderstorm I can ever remember last night. More than 8 inches of rain and I heard my block get hit at least five times by lightning strikes. Never seen that kind of lightning show before and what's weird is probably 50x last night I'd hear crackling for a second or two and then a nearby strike. Of course a bunch of people died in low water crossings here this morning because drivers are idiots in San Antonio. My yard is so soaked it feels like the grass at South Padre Island that you just sink into and kick up water with every step.

9C with frost warning. At least I got nice weather when I was off last week... heading back to work tomorrow.

It's also not super cold, so managed to finish my security cameras today.

Monday things are going to get hot. Looking at high 20's C with high humidity and temps will feel like 34 - 36 C.

Ugh that was my indoor temperature last year until my cheap ass finally replaced both ACs in my house (though we have also had insanely hot summers all decade other than 2021).

I could not cope with an inside temp of 30c that I couldn't escape from!
