Well.. I am not american. The issue is that Trump is not alone. It's their followers. There are a good bunch of them outside making Trump take a direction the rest of the country (even traiditional republicans) won't like.
And yeah, USA is a close ally of Israel, but seeing that Trump manages most of the army (heck, how in the hell he is sending the army to LA!??) and also Trump is close with Putin, I fear that would pull out of the situation, thinking that is best for him, but of course is a BIG screwup for the USA.
PS: I mentioned arabs since Iran won't launch an attack to Israel since is a sure loss, but with the Saudies or the rest of the arab countries is another story...
Right, so probably a good idea to quit trying to speak for Americans then, at least without support via citation. I applaud your interest, I just think you should read up on world events a bit more before trying so hard to annotate them for others. Don't get yourself confused for a cyka I guess is what I'm saying.
Some examples of why:
Iranians aren't Arabs, they're Persian and from the
other side of the sectarian divide within Islam.
Iran
has launched counter attacks, still doing it I think.
Sa'udi Arabia is the main regional opponent of Iran, and they've improved ties with Israel. If you feared American and Israeli friendly Sunnis attacking Israel to defend the Persian Shia in Tehran, well, then you've managed to not understand the basic balance of power in the region for the last 20ish years. Trump isn't being led by the people he conned, he's led by greed and ego, with a supporting role by Putin, probably blackmail. And no one is coming to Iran's aid. Not Russia, not Pakistan, certainly not Sunni governments who have been fighting proxy wars with Tehran for more than a decade.
