I saw that, and I find it to be a rather curious choice by AMD. I wonder if there are other differences or if these are just to get rid of defective IO dies.
Apparently the new rumored AM5 models are going to be just going to be Raphael and Granite Ridge with the IGP disabled.

Quietly in the background, plausible technical specifications for Sony's next generation handheld have come to light. Bearing in mind that we're likely years away from release, the plausibility of these specs has to be questioned but at the same time, the source of the leak - KeplerL2 - has proven to be a highly reliable source for all sorts of AMD information. He was also first to corroborate the PlayStation 5 Pro spec leaks and his information turned out to be very, very close to what we received as final hardware.
The first plausible Sony handheld specs leaks emerge - but how capable can it be?

What makes you think z3 extreme exists?RDNA 3.5 is outdated. STX used it bc it had to not by choice
makes zero sense if any new zen6 high-end gaming-oriented APU uses rdna3.5
i.e. z3 extreme will 100% be next gen
It does not exist.z3 extreme = the next AMD APU for top-end handheld
It's like maybe 2m units a year.also given its pending VERY HIGH demand
Nope, it's a fact. Go look at the noise levels and battery life in any review of a Range laptop. You're buying a partially 6nm MCM monstrosity with high pj/b interconnects in 2025 for $$$$. Not a mobile part at all. Even if you're tuning it's still a Zen 5 desktop part forced where it hardly belongs.
DTR is a niche. Hawk, Strix and Kraken are the mobile volume parts and you're talking about niche desktops with batteries killing niche desktops because it's all you can buy as a gamer kid.
And the best actually mobile part AMD makes - Strix Halo - is closer in 1T and nT to the 7900X than the 9950X3D.
there's no way medusa halo will be 3.5...... it's really suicide
RDNA 5 or bust
It’s more expensive than a Mac Studio. I get this is for businesses but when you are more expensive on an older node is something. geez to have more margins than Apple is crazy.HP Strix Halo Mini PC is now shipping. I hope somebody reviews it using higher power limit that laptop / tablets.

Its showing out of stock.
In UK you can get 395 128GB version for 2700£ including VAT, and last week due to some promo code it was 10% cheaper than that. It’s more expensive than a Mac Studio.
For what it's worth, when AMD introduced Ryzen 5 7400F and 7500F, they did not change the CPUID relative to non-F Raphaels, e.g. Ryzen 5 7600.

wtf are you on.
I believe the xbox console will be zen 5 as it is supposed to be revealed next year itself & on 3nm. So unlikely to be zen 6ps6 + psp2 will have zen 6 hence already booked TSMC-AMD full capacity for months, not just 2m units per year
anyway sorry I'm writing in all zen 5, 6, 7 threads and it gets confusing 😂
360 moved almost 100m units.tbh xbox never made sense lol just desperate attempt from MS to have foot on gaming market lolllll
