Something that always makes me laugh is when some goofy goober writes in a dismissive way that rapture lake failures are way down the list of Intel's problems.
This is true ironically they have much more problem slipping market share, empty fabs loosing money no AI GPU for DC,uncompetitive CPU designs and product in Desktop.

And this is in Argentina, but...

Congratulations Intel... not even the Core i5 laptops are safe.

Now I am thinking that even the U tier are on real risk.
That made me think... what Intel fked up so hard with the laptops processors?

I don't think that's the case it could be a bad thermal job just checked it's based on ADL even though it's called Raptor Lake 🤣.

That makes the situation worse? I mean, even Alder Lake is not safe then.
From the same video this is is not good condition also undervolting won't fix this mess. OEMs put random skyrocketing Power Limits on laptop and than it throttles and than people have issue even my 185H has 115W PL2 and 90W PL1 and it throttles hard i have fixed it by setting manual PL of 45W and i don't get much issues.

Yeah

Welcome to OEM Crappy practices of cheaping out on stuff and not adhering to spec.
At least desktop users have other settings they can tinker with Mobile users ain't got one especially for H/U/P SKU the only way to solve it limit Power limit according to cooling capacity

I don't know if it's fair to blame OEMs for failing to cope with skyrocketing x64 laptop power limits many times higher than the TDP Intel specifies. If it is built to the specified TDP, they did what Intel told them was required... technically.

We are well past playing the blame game. Intel is at fault and eventually admitted it. I don't know what kind of solace desktop users are supposed to take from superior "tinkering" capabilities? It certainly didn't stop their CPUs from breaking. Hell, Jay had his completely manually tuned and it went belly up. It just reads like yet another attempt to put the blame anywhere but where it belongs; squarely on Intel.

well CPU companies specifies the range it is upto OEMs to configure the chips based on their cooling capabilities at least the race to sleep is going away on Intel platform finally with LNL/PTL it won't be missed for sure.
