LOL they have been trying to get the technology working for 20 years. They still can’t.
And to say they have not put ‘effort into it’ because they didn’t see a ‘role for it’ is pure copium.
The Russians and Iranians have missiles that are basically unstoppable, but SOMEHOW the US didn’t think the important enough to have the same capabilities?
😂
And if the US didn’t see a role for them, what exactly has changed that has gotten them trying(and failing) to get them working these days? Probably doesn’t have anything to do with China/Iran/Russia having access to them right?
Stop coping bud. Truth is they just don’t have the expertise and should just ask to buy some from Putin. He may be able to sell us a few if we ask him nicely.
I guess you missed New START falling apart, Russia basically ignoring the terms for years before it did, and China acting much more aggressively.
I guess you also missed Khinzal intercepts with PAC-3 and Ukrainian crews. There was even a Zircon intercept iirc.
I guess you also missed Arrow and THAAD intercepts.
I guess you also only have a RT/Fox understanding of hypersonics and don't know that long range ballistic missiles tend to be hypersonic by virtue of how fast they have to go to get high enough to be long range. This is what Iran might have, although there's been no proof of true maneuvering hypersonics.
