Apparently they are now saying they will be built in America 'eventually'. (lol no they won't)

There is no way they are selling a phone with the reported specs for that price. Either the specs will go down or the price will go up or, maybe most likely, nothing ends up showing up at all. This is yet another scam.
It's not a great phone, I can buy a phone with those same specs on Aliexpress for about $100 shipped. I'm assuming he'll be ordering a lot so the price will go down for him. Selling a $100'ish phone for $500 + his monthly service sounds like a resonable grift to me. The phone has pretty good specs, but it's not anywhere near what I'd call a good phone. It does show how overpriced Samsung, Apple & Sony phones are.

More fascism on display from the ICE gestapo

It's clear that immigrants have no safe path to gain permanent legal status as they are being arrested at the very immigration hearings, appointments, etc, that are part of the LEGAL path to do so. Those that attempt to try to protect these people's constitutional and legal rights, and defend their attemp to follow the legal pathway per our laws, face arrest and possible jail time. As of now, Brad Lander hasn't been charged, but that could change once the DOJ "reviews" what happened. So lets say it staight out: immigrants are fucked, and those that try to help them (or protest against) are now under the vail of fear of being arrested and jailed.

Can someone on the right explain to us how this is OK? How is it ok for ICE to arrest people who are following the rules (laws) to gain legal status but are not allowed to do so because ICE is illegally interfering with that legal process. Before you come at us with a twisted manipulated bullshit answer, ask yourself this: if they can do it to these people who are following the laws, and doing what they are supposed to, what is going to stop them from turning on You, me and every other citizen, who are following the laws and such? We aready know this adminstration is in contemp of various court orders, so the courts are not really going to save us. Do you think being a citizen is really going to change that when they move on past immigrants, to another catagory of people?

I think Trump was talked into the idea that a 'war' with Iran would be a Turkey shoot for Americans; and he might be right but if he is wrong it will be Biden's fault

Trump using yet another means to whitewash history.
They've placed these signs at Manzanar as well, https://www.nps.gov/manz/index.htm . Destroying the memory of a place like this would be so disrespectful to the people forced into the camp and the story of their resilience. So of course this administration will do what they can to whitewash the history.

My guess is if they get a few negative feedback they will use them to justify eliminating the sites.

My guess is even without any negative feedback they'll claim there was and do it anyway. I don't think Trump and his goon squad are worried a damn bit about justifying anything they do. If they can't get a legit sounding reason, they'll just make one up.

Nice Alex

New updated Portraits are coming out for the Trump Administration.

View attachment 125877

Surely there's not a single Republican that would take offense to that image. If anything, there'd be a whole lot of them admiring it and hanging that portrait over their fireplace mantels, while giving it a raised stiff armed "bless his heart" salute every time they see it.

I suppose by the Mid-terms it will become clearer where this is all going, though it might be too late by that point.

Levitsky, said the administration – spearheaded by Stephen Miler, the powerful White House deputy chief of staff – had adopted a practice of declaring emergencies to acquire potentially dictatorial powers.

“In the US constitution, almost every existing constraint on executive power can be circumvented in a state of emergency,” he said. “And it’s becoming clear that the administration is learning that emergencies are the easiest route to circumvent the law and not be blocked by the courts. The supreme court is very reluctant to say, ‘No, that’s not an emergency, Trump, you lied. You made that up.’ It’s sort of a free pass for circumventing the rule of law.”

The White House used economic emergency legislation to impose sweeping trade tariffs, while invoking the 1798 Alien and Sedition Act, passed in anticipation of a war with France, to justify summarily deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members. Miller repeatedly called last week’s protests in Los Angeles an “insurrection”, implicitly justifying the invocation of the Insurrection Act, which enables a president to use military forces to quash a rebellion on US soil.

Writing in the Atlantic, David Frum, an anti-Trump conservative commentator, warned that the penchant for emergencies could be applied to next year’s congressional elections, when the Democrats hope to regain control of the House of Representatives, an outcome that could curtail his authoritarian power grab.

Ah yes, the "state of emergency". The state that was described by Miller's favorite Nazi, Carl Schmitt, who wrote "The Crisis of Parliamentary Democracy", and was characterized as a way for the executive to bypass legislative checks.

What was that comment about 'the road to fascism being lined with people telling you not to over-react'?

Lawmakers are allowed to access DHS facilities “used to detain or otherwise house aliens” for inspections and are not required “to provide prior notice of the intent to enter a facility”, according to the 2024 Federal Appropriations Act.

Previous language surrounding lawmaker visits to such facilities said that “Ice will comply with the law and accommodate members seeking to visit/tour an Ice detention facility for the purpose of conducting oversight,” CNN reported.

However, in the new guidance, the DHS updated the language to say that Ice “will make every effort to comply with the law” but “exigent circumstances (e.g,m operational conditions, security posture, etc.) may impact the time of entry into the facility”.

So, you know, we'll probably obey the law, but only if we feel like it.

And the millions of people who put these tyrants in office simply walk away from their responsibility for their actions. They do not hold the despots they elected to account. They remain quiet, acquiescent, dutiful as they witness how the freedoms that allowed them to choose their leaders are now being picked off wholesale by the very people they remain loyal to. They stubbornly (stupidly) insist that they made the right choice even in the face of how wrong they were.

They planted their flag of ignorance and denial on a hill of deception and lies. They've been conditioned to accept their fates as peasant serfs to their King and his nobles. They've somehow been convinced that giving up their rights as citizens is the safest thing they can do, that acquiring a "no matter what" attitude toward witnessing their own demise guarantees their desire to keep the blood of their nation from being contaminated by the hordes from down south. Their Second Amendment rights have been turned into a weapon that His Royal Highness can threaten and intimidate his enemies with fer cry'in out loud. Their church goers have been radicalized into political pawns by their own politically corrupted clergy.

But it's somehow all good with these servile nitwits of Trump. WTF? I mean really.

Funny how the Trump admin. has to flaunt and skirt around the laws of the land to force things their way. This while the alleged Law and Order people who populate that so-called party of theirs is looking more and more like an Organized Crime Syndicate network. They're looking away from these anti-Law and Order tricks and stunts their King is perpetrating, especially so for their state sponsored propaganda outlets. The party faithful are all complicit in this scheme of Trump's that's blatantly and undeniably attempting to burn The Constitution and Our Bill of Rights into ashes and replace it with an Oligarch financed Church sponsored Monarchy that will of course by way of edict create A State Church in return for the favor.
