The clerk of the house does the seating and that’s not an elected member.My best guess (if there is an election in '26) is that the results in favor of Ds will be contested, and that Johnson will not seat the incoming house members because of "irregularities". After that, all bets are off, and it doesn't really matter what happens next. We're done.
