Sounds like a lose/lose to me. Dropped with prejudice and Trump can’t use it a a quid pro quo but Adam gets away with committing a crime. Dropped but without prejudice and Trump gets his quid pro quo but Adams could get charged later.

Polls like this are usually just name recognition at this point. For example there's a recent poll that had Kamala Harris as the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in 2028 and that seems... unlikely.
