It's really h
I never claimed there was an open border law. I have stated that immigration laws have been ignored. My proof of that is eleven million illegal immigrants residing in the US. Six thousand and change crossed into the US every day under the Biden administration.
In our need for a peasant class to mow lawns and clean toilets we pretty much fucked over a whole bunch of people because they are all now criminals with no road to citizenship. Who did that help? Who benefits from a group of people who won't turn in their employer for not paying overtime? Who benefits from employees that aren't covered by workers comp?
Don't even try to tell me that I'm on the wrong side of this.
LOL! You are narrow minded which is why you are looking at this with blinders on. First of all, if you actually cared to really look at the numbers, all the data, the full picture instead of your narrow manipulated view of the numbers and facts provided to you by your handlers, you will find that the trajectory of increased boarder crossings started long before Biden took office. In fact, the increase started before Covid, declined in the middle of 2020, and then started to substantially increase towards the end of 2020. As much as you want to deny the truth, the increase started before Biden was President. Second, the increased flow of immigrants into the US was predicted to happen long before the 2020 elections. Biden also deported nearly double that of Trump, and Obama. So those facts alone show you are on the wrong side of this, because of your misguided (bullshit) view of what took place. Also, your 11 million "illegals" in the US, and 6,000 a day crossing include those that are actualy here undocumented legally, waiting for their asylum court case to be heard, PER OUR LAWS!
If your claims where true, why is it that Trump has had to revolk at least 1/2 a million to a million, people's legal status and told them to get out. ICE is grabbing people who are going to their immigrantion appointments and court dates, doing it right.. Seems to me, if there really was a huge problem with illegals being in this country, as your position indicates, why does Trump need to revolk those people's legal status to "buff" his deportation numbers, and why is ICE targeting people who are following the rules and laws?
You really want to know what our biggest problem is, when it comes to undocumented immigrants? Answer: the path to legal status and citizenship. It takes years, and lots of money to ge there. And now we have an administration who is grabbing people off the streets who are in the process of walking that long and expensive path.
