On that older CPU I would not go above an RX570/GTX1650, it will start starving your GPU above that. your avg game FPS on the 280 is around 65-70 (1080p). Going to the 570 should give you around 90 FPS. For your primary game not sure if that is worth it to you but it seems you should be fine...

Question 5700 XT, HDMI port stuck in 640x480

Try switching the HDMI connection to another monitor and see if the problem follows the cable. You don't mention of the monitors are all the same or different makes/models.

Solved! HD630 for desktop/light gaming and 1080ti for folding?

You should be able to just tell windows which GPU to use (ex: your browser). Since you want to use the embed you can add via win10 graphics settings otherwise through the Nvidia control panel.

Just got the VX2255WMB from Staples and I'll be calibrating it and start doing some testing on this. If this one doesn't work out I'll try the Gateway next, but I'm really hoping this turns out to be a better gaming LCD for me (doesn't make me dizzy).

I could not find reviews for the 931BF. Does the shop have a return policy? It is a 2ms panel so you have a shot of it being good in games, if they have a return policy then give it a whirl.

@Cheex That's the only review I've found for this panel. If you google the gateway you'll run into many user reviews on various forums. As soon as work lets up I'm planning on picking one of them up for a test.

OK so this weekend I"m going to pick up the 226CW and the gateway FHD2400 to see what I like better. I'll use the Spyder Express on both to get them properly calibrated and post my findings after I've played around with them for at least a few days each.

I had the 226BW and the 2232BW for two weeks each and they are pretty equal they are both nice monitors. Overall I would say the 226BW is a bit better (I did not get the samsung panel) IMHO (at least in games).
