I received I and my mother 3 coupons so far. As per the other post each came in its own small white envelope. There was also one envelope in between ours that was for someone that lives in another town about 50 miles away. We do get other peoples mail about once a month, can't blame Coke for that.

Radioshack.com 1GB Stick PC3200 DDR Memory $50 after rebates

The price isn't bad but the Ratshack rebates are. I just received my phone rebate from the Black Friday sale. You'll most likely GET your rebate but don't expect it soon.

UPDATE! Philips CDRW PCRW80 $40 Rebate

My Mom got her check today, a week ago thursday Nataila e-mailed it would be sent in 48 hrs. Still don't have mine and I e-mailed her 2 days before my Mom. Burner still works great, but if a rebate was involved again(as a deciding factor) I would surely pass on Philips.

Batteries for UPSs

A good reason NOT to a car battery(wet cell) is they produce explosive gas when charging. A small spark and you have battery acid and case material all over the place.

Question about RAID controller on Soyo Dragon+

Yes the raid controller will work SE, but you cannot use a CDRom to boot from them. VIA-chipsets slow down PCI cards there seems to be a problem if you are running a high end system. It also appears to be suggested by Soyo that you use ide 1 for cdrom/dvd drives and ide 2 for hd. I personally...

Phillips 8/4/32x CDRW for $20+tax at Staples B&M

I have 2 of these and they work perfect for me at 8x, with CompUSA cheapo cdr's, no firmware flash, reads anything I put in it including burns from friends. If I could get another for <30 i'd buy it as long as it didn't involve a MIR.

Did I screw my mobo?

It should be soldered on like everything else. I wouldn't worry too much unless you hit pretty hard, just take a closer look. Fire-up your system and see if it works, hell it may work even if the cap is loose. Might cause some stability problems if it is though.
