    turn everything down. Turn off AA, turn off Bloom, turn off Depth of Field, Turn shadows to low. Biggest thing you can do is turn off Frame Rate Smoothing. Disable Vsync. Game will look better (Takes away some of the annoying haze and glare.) and handle much better as well.

    Because you confirmed you are overclocking. I think you should test your memory and cpu for errors. Do you know how to do this? I had problems with BC2 inexplicably CTD'ing like you and I found it was that my ram timings were off. I changed one setting and then I've never had a crash again.
