I'm here looking for some suggestions or idea about a new build I'm looking to do.

Agree. OP, if this is a gaming build, I can either shave a couple hundred bucks off with no loss in performance or give you better gaming performance for the same money.

i'd go at least 60 GB on the SSD. 40 GB really doesn't go very far. find a more inexpensive case to free up some funds.

memory speed makes just about 0 difference with sandy bridge so might as well choose something less expensive and higher speed.

I added the DVD drive and changed the case. I'm not sure if the case will be good, or the cooling. This is my first build, so I'm not sure if everything will work together.

Would it be possible to lower the power supply?

Anyone want to suggest a graphic card? I plan on playing Starcraft, Battlefield, Crysis, and Counter-Strike.

Those parts look fine for the most part. I would normally suggest the i5 2500K, but the i7 2600K is somewhat worth it since you are doing video editing.

The two main parts I would change are:
- Mobo: The GA-Z68A-D3H has more features and costs less.
- PSU: The XFX Core 650W is a good PSU, but the Antec HCG-620 is slightly better and is $50 AR right now.

I'd say to go for the 6950 2GB. The 6970 isn't worth the extra $75.

If you really want to spend up to $1500, grab another 6950 2GB for Crossfire.

Nope, the 620W has plenty of juice.
