86 miles since I last posted including a nice 5K in 16:25 today. That's an unexpected surprise! I've been marathon training and that's my 2nd fastest 5K ever (by 1 second) and it felt nowhere near as intense as my PR did.

I just got back from a long trail run on the Interloken Trail in the Finger Lakes National Forest. Fully loaded backpack, 80oz of water and food and other stuff. 24 miles felt like 30 at least, the pack makes a big difference. Bonus: I found blackberry bushes and refueled with pure deliciousness. haha

Dang, great runs mega and drteming! Mega, that run sounds absolutely epic! I can't imagine running that far with a pack on, although the blackberries sound awesome! I only did 22 miles today, and only with a hand-held water bottle, and on the roads (except for maybe half a mile on a flat stretch of trail).
