I like running in the dark. Except last night I ran through a small crowd, yes crowd, of homeless drunk dudes. Some seemed high, too. I sped up a little for the next mile.

Brings up a good question: would you rather risk human predators or large non-human predators? I'd rather come across a bear than a person with malice on their mind.

I'd fear human predators more, just because where I'm located in the heart of suburbia, there aren't any real animal predators to worry about, except for a stray dog or the like. I've seen a fox a few times, and the random snake, but they're happy to leave me alone, and I'm happy to return the favor.

What do you guys reccemend for a good outdoor running shoe that will get me through tough mudder? I'll be in waist high deep cold water so they need to be able to dry quickly.

Trail shoes kev. They typically drain much quicker than road shoes. Do you like minimal, neutral, or full support?

On a separate note, I did 9 miles this morning in my new, badass NB MT1010s. I love these f*cking shoes already.

full support. i use nike prestos right now and love em, but they wont cut it on the mudder course, they will basically become a sponge. any suggestions?
