Today would have been a run day but to keep my legs fresh I did a brisk bike ride instead. Felt weird to not run on a usual day.Originally posted by: RagingBITCH
Super easy 2 this morning. Last run before the marathon on Sunday. Feels weird only doing 2

Just got done with my very first ever race. My son placed 120th, I came in at 130th. I'm disappointed by the placing, but I'll do better next time. I was a little relaxed about getting around the slower runners who were in front of me, I could have come in 2 minutes quicker if I hadn't been blocked by all the college kids. Next time I'll get to front of the starting pack so I don't have to thread my way through all the dawdlers. Speaking of college kids, the guys and gals on the Hobart College soccer and swimming teams were jack rabbits!
I'll update with my age group ranking when it's posted on the website.
2556 including the one mile warmup.
