26(.2) this morning. Probably started a bit fast. Did the first half in 1:41. Legs started to give out at mile 17. Hit the wall at mile 21. The last 5 miles were hell on earth. Managed to finish in 3:38. Not too bad considering I did my first 5K one year ago to the date.

Are you always the same terrain or do you have some variety? If you are running a hilly road route versus technical singletrack versus smooth rail trails then you'd have different paces and different PLE (perceived level of exertion).6.5 miles
I have absolutely no feel for pace. Some days I feel like I'm running slow but I'm still hitting my nominal splits. Sometimes I feel like I'm running at a normal pace but I'm actually running super slow. I think my perception is bad enough I may have to buy a Garmin.
