Easy day yesterday worked wonders as I felt terrific for my workout of 2x 4 miles at marathon pace (6:05) today. Did 14 miles total.

It does suck, I look like I just finished an ultra when I get back from a half. I just worked my way up, dealing with the heat and humidity is alot like dealing with distance.

Thanks man! Yes everyone healthy and doing well. Mommy had the Cesarian due to the position of baby, but is recovering ok so far. I'm so happy!

No sir. First one we lost three days after birth, she was born very sick (see sig link) second one, my son is almost three and was born 8 weeks early and third one is about one day old now. We've been through a lot and feel very blessed and fortunate right now.

13 miles on Sunday - a humid (90%!) death march of a half-marathon. I have NEVER seen my body sweat like that before - it was like I'd poured milk down my legs! Strangest thing I've ever seen. I shouldn't have been trying for a PR in that type of weather, but my son broke 2:00 for the first time, so it was still a great event for one of us!
